Waterfront modified A-frame on chain of 10 lakes

Manitowish Waters has been our home away from home for 4 generations and we'd like to share it with you. Modern amenities with private pier space for 2 boats. 2+ acres of woods, nestled under birches & pines, the home features 500+ ft of shoreline on a private bay between Manitowish and Alder Lakes (part of a fishing-friendly 10-lake chain). Bay features pristine national forest. Two kayaks, rowboat, grill, ping pong, bikes and firepit all on property and available. My wife and I recently bought the house from my grandmother and we were married on the front lawn in June 2022! We are continuing the family tradition of renting the home on Airbnb during the times we are away. Watch the sunrise over the water from the wrap-around deck or two private piers. Be sure to gaze up at night at the zillions of stars blanketing the sky. You may even see the northern lights if you’re lucky! We hope to see you soon in the Northwoods! Please note: we are pet-friendly as long as your pup is well-behaved; we charge a $150 flat fee regardless of duration if bringing a dog to cover additional cleaning costs. We also ask that you please dry off and clean the paws of your pup before entering the home. On the first floor is a well-equipped kitchen with cooktop island, dishwasher, and dining area. This opens to the family room with knotty pine walls, gas cast iron fireplace, cathedral ceiling, sliding door and an additional bay of windows to view the water or the woods. The first floor also has a “game room” or den with comfy chairs, a game table along with a desk with a monitor, keyboard, and laptop stand. The room has three walls of large windows which shower the room with light. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom with king bed faces the lake and has a sliding door leading to the deck. There is a walk-in closet and full bath with shower and a soaking bathtub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet and is close to the second full bathroom. Lastly on the first floor is a laundry room with washer, dryer and utility sink. The second floor is a large, carpeted loft with 7 twin beds, closet, and 2 ceiling fans. There is also a lake view from the loft. Outdoors features a large deck with a dining table and chairs along with a side patio with grill as an additional place for outdoor meals. We have a handicap-accessible ramp to enter the home. The private pier can easily secure 2 boats. There are nearby marinas if you're looking to rent a boat. We have a rowboat and two kayaks available for you as well.
