The cottage is located on the waterfront area of a private property with the owner's main house farther back away from the water. The main house is not visible from the cottage and the cottage is not visible from the main house. The waterfront is shared only with the owner. If you have never been to The Bahamas before, please be aware that this is the tropics and the island is quite rural so there are insects. We do our best to protect you from them but we cannot eliminate them. Rental SUV needed as this is a rural setting with unpaved roads. Property is 100% off grid with photovoltaics and rain catchment which provides a much more reliable source than the public utility here on island. Guests are asked to please keep this in mind and be conservative in their use.
