John H Kerr Reservoir is a large lake with over 800 miles of shoreline, nearby Satterwhite Point Marina and multiple boat ramps. We are just 3 short miles away from Carolina Bait & Tackle with grill inside that’s serves breakfast and lunch, as well as Dollar General for any last minute needs. Only 10 miles from town, and under an hour to Wake Forest, Raleigh & Durham. 20 min to Mariah Parham Hospital and local urgent cares for emergencies. Other things to note 4 seater Golf cart included as a courtesy for our guests for a short ride to private boat dock to enjoy swimming, fishing, boating and picnics. No additional charge for the use of golf cart. HOWEVER any damages are subject to additional fees. DRIVERS MUST BE 18 or older and have a valid drivers license to operate the golf cart. ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN ALLOWED TO DRIVE CART. The lake level can vary at different times of the year. Due to this, at times the dock may not be accessible. Contact owner for questions regarding lake level and dock accessibility. Use of the dock at your own risk. No fish cleaning or smoking in the house.
