Located in the heart of the ‘old’ Torregrotta district, the house is spacious, comfortable, fully restored and air-conditioned. It is at the end of a small alley in which it has 3 houses. Located near local shops & bars and only 3 km from the sea, this Sicilian house that can comfortably accommodate 8 people has a beautiful private heated pool (heated for an additional charge). Fast internet (fiber) is accessible anywhere in the house and pool. The space The house will allow you to enjoy a beautiful view on the mountainous village of San Pier Nicetto while being close to small local shops and large surfaces, bars, artisans ... The house has been tastefully furnished and quality new materials and equipment. The house has 4 separate spaces: A. The main building: Rez-De-Chaussée: **1 double bedroom (convertible into 2 single beds) & 1 sink in the bedroom, 1 small shower room & toilet separate from the room and located right next door. 1st floor: ** 1 family suite with 1 double bedroom with 1 smart TV, 1 private bathroom, 1 living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, 1 smart TV and 1 desk area ** 1 double bedroom with TV and direct access to the rooftop solarium Rooftof: Paillote housing a small private living room adjoining a bathroom with atypical toilet that surprises you and has a beautiful view. B. The secondary building: **Overlooking the pool, living space usually used during the day and including 1 large fully equipped kitchen & 1 living room (with American fridge, wine fridge, dishwasher, smart TV, WII game), toilet area & washing machine. **Terrace with electric solar tent, beautiful large outdoor table for 12 people and a designer lounge (60M2). The living area is located right across the street from the main building. This makes the house atypical and gives it a unique character and very vacation. C. The pool area: Secure space and including 1 terrace of 35m2 with 1 large living room under the hut and swimming pool (1.40m deep), bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, outdoor shower, storage space & dryer, 8 sunbeds available. D. The studio located near the pool: For groups of at least 7 people,the studio/beautiful 4th bedroom of 25 m2 is available at no additional cost. Completely renovated and air-conditioned, it has a double bed, bathroom, dining area & Kitchinette (high table, 2 bar chairs, sink, microwave oven, induction hobs & fridge) and a Smart TV. For groups of less than 7 people, the studio can be rented for €40/day all in. Neighbors are nice and helpful! You'll meet them when they get home. They are very discreet and will be at your disposal for any questions or small technical problems. They will also be able to prepare small local dishes for you if you would like to discover Sicilian cuisine (with extra charge). Everything has been thought out to bring you comfort, fun and feel as good as at home but with the holiday side in addition! The swimming pool with a depth of 1.40 M everywhere , open from May to October is heated (for an additional charge of €10/day) and equipped with a canvas to preserve a pleasant temperature. The living room is ideally located by the pool under a bioclimatic pergola for you to rest, read, sleep, have an aperitif. At your disposal: 1 large & 1 medium bath towel, 2 beach towels per person. If you need it, you can request extra bed sheets or bath towels during your stay. For families, a crib, 1 baby monitor, 1 small children's bathtub and baby games are also available Guest access We advise you to land in Catania in case you come directly to the house or if you plan to leave the house for your return (count 1h30 from the airport). If not, in case of circuit, all airports are possible. We have a lot of hosts who land in Palermo. There are often many more flights and it is a great opportunity to visit Palermo and Cefalù before coming home. Torregrotta train station is located +/- 1.5 km from the house. A car is recommended. Other things to note The area is very authentic and representative of Sicilian life. There are few tourists except in high season. The closest entertainment venues to the house are between 3 and 5 kms. Venetico is very lively in the evening. There are play areas for the kids and small outdoor fitness. In Fondachello, you'll find the tennis and padel club. Must-see sights in the area are the Aeolian Islands, Capo di Milazzo with Venere pool, Tindari, Capo d 'Orlando, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Messina & Dinnammare, Alcantara gorges,... There are also many small mountain villages within +/-15' of the house: San Pier Niceto, Monforte San Giorgio, Roccavaldina, Rometta, Novara di Sicilia ...
