Description
Our home is tucked away off of Washington Street and feels secluded though we are walking distance to downtown Dover. Our home was built as a warehouse 100 years ago and was converted to a residence in 2009. The apartment has a separate entrance from the rest of the house and has a private deck. The space is light and airy, both rustic and contemporary, with old floors and exposed rafters. We are a short walk to restaurants and bars, and the train to Boston or Portland, Maine. The space The apartment is quite spacious for a one-bedroom with a full kitchen that has most of what you'll need to put a meal together. The sleep sofa has a queen sized memory foam mattress. The apartment has a private deck. Guests have exclusive use of a separate laundry on the ground floor, and also use of an elliptical exercise machine (shared). Guests are welcome to use our larger patio and grill. Guest access There are no laundry facilities in the apartment but if you really need to you can use our washer / dryer. Other things to note The Downeaster Train that runs between Boston and Portland passes through the woods behind the house, and also frieght trains. We love the trains, and most of our guest do as well. Occasionally, the freight trains are noisy.
