Betty's Home is well maintained. It has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bath (no tub) with hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen features a smooth top stove, a double oven, dishwasher, coffee pot, and microwave. There is a washer and dryer for your use as well. 2 car attached garage for parking. TV in the living and master bedroom. Wonderful locally owned Restaurants to pick from. It's a quiet neighborhood with the best neighbors! Sorry, but absolutely no pets or no smoking in the home! The space Flora has a variety of unique locally owned businesses for you to enjoy during your stay. Wine tasting on Main Street or you can also take a short walk to The Corner Market for more unique and antique shopping. Flora is proud to be the home of several one of a kind restaurants which include Railroad Pizza, Bill’s Creole and Steak Depot, the Blue Rooster, Los Molcajetes and Annie M's. Flora has a small park for children with a walking track or where you can just sit on a bench and enjoy the quiet. Betty’s Home is just minutes from the Mississippi Petrified Forest & Providence Farms. You can visit one of the Mississippi Blues Trail sites only 7 miles north in Bentonia. The wonderful neighbors of Betty’s Home, on either side, have been there for more than forty years. One neighbor is an awesome, experienced cook and will prepare and deliver breakfast if you so desire. You will often times see people out walking, running, or riding bikes around town. There's no place like Flora! It is a hidden little gem. We are the Mayberry of Mississippi. Other things to note About 30 minutes south located in Jackson you will find the Mississippi Braves minor league baseball team along with several museums which include the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, Mississippi Children’s Museum, Mississippi Museum of Art, Mississippi Agricultural & Forestry Museum, and the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. You can also visit our State Capitol and the Old Capital Museum. Jackson is also the host of the Dixie National Rodeo, Mississippi State Fair, and Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. You can also take in a show at the New Stage Theatre and the USA International Ballet Competition which is held in Jackson.
