Le Mongeat is a peaceful oasis located at the top of a hill, with unobstructed views of the countryside and sunsets. It is a paradise for ponies and a paradise for a vacation as close as possible to nature... The perfect place to stop time, to disconnect, to contemplate, but also the perfect place to explore the jewels of Périgord... The space Our cottage L'EVASION is located in the Golden Triangle of Périgord (between Sarlat, Bergerac and Périgueux). Coming into our green bubble, you will be close to all the sites to visit: - picturesque villages (Sarlat, Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Limeuil, Brantôme...) - prehistoric sites (Lascaux, Les Eyzies, La Roque Saint Christophe...), - castles (Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes, Monbazillac...) - but also the Gouffre de Proumeyssac, the Hanging Gardens of Marqueyssac... Inside the cottage you will find all the comforts you need. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, a wood stove for fall evenings... In the living room, TV, DVD, books and comics, board games... The house has 2 bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one upstairs. All 4 bedrooms are located upstairs. Two bedrooms with a large double bed, and two bedrooms with two single beds. Outside, the house has a large private terrace and garden. Part of the garden is converted into a games area (pingpong table, badminton, trampoline...). You will also find sunbeds, hammocks, majestic trees, and a little out of the way, another terrace, panoramic, for the evening to let yourself be dazzled by the splendid sunsets... The 10m x 5m pool is secured. It is open from May to September and is equipped with sunbathing. Horses, sunsets, panoramic views, large garden, hammocks, pool... Choosing this cottage for your vacation, according to your choices or desires, is the possibility of spending a holiday of idleness and absolute rest, in a bubble of greenery almost cut off from the world. Or to explore the Périgord, its prehistoric sites, its caves, its 1001 castles, its rivers ... It is also the opportunity for children and anyone who wants it, and as much as they want, to spend intense moments of scratching, tenderness, walks, games with Lasko, Riviéra and Espelette, our 3 young ponies. 3 teddy bears, who are here for you and who will make the greatest delight of young and old... Located away from the world and its excitement, in a green context of absolute calm, but very close to all the major tourist sites of Périgord, our cottage is the ideal place for stays for families or friends, it is also a paradise for children ... Come with a light heart. Beds are made upon arrival and towels are at your disposal. Essentials such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee, tea, chocolate powder, sugar..., but also washing machine and dishwasher pods are also at your disposal.
