A unique opportunity to stay in a stunning location overlooking the Nantes-Brest canal with the magnificent medieval Chateau visible in the distance. Outside at the terrace level is a store room leading through to the garden. The terrace has a parasol, and chairs is perfect for “al fresco” dining. Linen and towels are provided. The space The front door leads directly to the entrance hall. Just off the hall on the left is a Wc. On the right is the kitchen/diner with seating for 6 guests. The kitchen is fitted with wooden units and also has an induction hob and oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A washing machine is also provided for guest use. From the ground floor hallway there are two steps into the living room. This bright and airy room has a superb view of the canal. Comfortable seating is provided. Also a Tv with a Freesat box. English channels only. A Dvd player is provided. Please note the woodburner is not for use but just a feature. Oil fired central heating and electric radiators are provided for cooler months. WiFi is available throughout the property. The elegant wooden staircase leads to the first and second floor. Bedroom 1 (views to the canal) has a Double bed. Bedroom 2 also has two single beds. The family bathroom is on this level and has a shower, washbasin and WC. The floor is tiled with beautiful Portuguese tiles. Stairs lead up to the 2nd floor with Bedroom 3, (Master Bedroom). It is elegantly presented with a clawed foot bathtub and a separate ensuite shower room and WC. Directly opposite the house is an amazing boulangerie for your fresh bread, croissants, cakes etc! Also just by the car park a lovely cafe serving drinks, cakes and snacks. Guest access Access to the house on arrival is via key box located at the large gated entrance (Rue du Halage). Once you have the keys you can then access via either the back door or the front door (on Rue Glatinier) to offload luggage. The house is located on 4 floors, bedrooms being on 1st and 2nd floors and kitchen and lounge on ground floor. The property has steps to climb from the basement (level with the back garden) up to the 2nd floor where the Master bedroom is located. If you have mobility issues please consider this and enquire about suitability of accommodation before finalising your reservation. The accommodation is not suitable for wheelchair users. Other things to note Obligatory Cleaning Fee Optional services - Heating: Price: Included in the booking. Dogs are permitted. Pet Fee is applied. Maximum 2 dogs. (No cats) Dogs are not allowed on furniture and must not be allowed to go above the ground floor. Any "mess" is the responsibility of the owner to clear up. The garden is secure.
