Set on the historic Packet Quays, this waterfront apartment enjoys elevated panoramic views across Falmouth Harbour. Designed with reverse-level living to make the most of the outlook, the space blends contemporary style with relaxed coastal comfort. Just moments from Falmouth’s vibrant centre, you’ll find restaurants, cafés, galleries and bakeries all nearby. Slipways and a small tidal beach sit just below the courtyard, with convenient parking close by. The space Captain’s Loft has been thoughtfully designed for modern coastal living, making the most of its incredible harbour views. From the courtyard, steps lead to the stable door and entrance on the ground floor. Here you’ll find three bedrooms a king, a double and an adult twin along with the family bathroom and a separate wet room with a waterfall shower, all finished to a high standard. Stairs lead to the first floor where the home opens into a contemporary, open-plan living space with stunning views across Falmouth Harbour, Flushing and the Roseland Peninsula. This light-filled space is designed for relaxing and socialising, with a large central island forming the heart of the room. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and dine comfortably during your stay. Just off the kitchen is a utility room providing washing and laundry facilities. The cottage also benefits from excellent WiFi throughout, and all rooms include convenient USB charging points. For the comfort of all guests, we kindly ask that smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. Guest access Secure parking is available for one vehicle in the allocated space for Captain’s Loft. Please note there is a height restriction of 1.92m (6’3”) to access the middle level of the car park where the private parking space is located. If you are travelling with a roof rack or top box, please ensure it is removed before entering the car park due to the height restriction. Once on the middle level, the parking space for Captain’s Loft will be directly ahead of you. Behind the space is a locked pedestrian access gate which leads directly towards the property. From here, head up the stone steps, pass through the iconic Barracks Ope, and you’ll arrive on the Old High Street. From this central location you can easily explore Falmouth’s many cafés, restaurants, shops and waterfront spots. The Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and the Greenbank Hotel home to the well-loved Working Boat Pub are both within easy reach, and nearby you’ll also find opportunities to book paddleboarding and other waterside activities. Other things to note Please note the property is not particularly suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs due to the number of steps required to access it. There is no parking available within the Packet Quays courtyard. Guests must use the designated parking space allocated to Captain’s Loft. Each resident has their own space, so we kindly ask that you park only within the allocated bay and remain considerate of neighbouring properties. The property is a strictly non-smoking home. If you require parking for additional vehicles, free street parking can usually be found along Stratton Terrace and Dunstanville Terrace, both located a short walk from the property. Alternatively, there are several public car parks in Falmouth. We recommend Town Quarry Long Stay Car Park, which is approximately £10 per day, with weekly tickets available via mobile payment.
