This house has been designed to make the most of the stunning sea and beach views with almost all the south, east and west elevations fully glazed to maximise the incredible uninterrupted coastal scene. Light floods into every habitable room through a series of large sliding doors. Entertain & Dine. Preparing simple or extravagant meals in the large well equipped open plan kitchen will always be a pleasure as not only can you see the sea whilst cooking, it is at the heart of the open plan living and dining area with 4 meter long island providing the perfect place to sit and chat to the 'chef' of the day. The dining and living space is 21 meters long and provides different areas to congregate in; from the main seating area with large TV and leather sofas, an informal seating area at the west end (ideal for those who want to chat rather than watch TV) and of course the main dining area which has views over the beach. All along the open plan living, dining area are sliding doors which open onto the terrace and the 13m x 3m heated pool. Outside: Immediately outside the living dining areas is an extensive south facing terrace looking onto the pool and beyond to the beach and sea. There is also a large sun deck (4 x15M) beyond the pool which is a great space to dine or party. The hot tub is placed at the west end of the pool ( by the barbecue area) and will be the perfect place for sundowners as the sun sets over the sea or cliff. There are small areas of lawn and the sloping site has many coastal plants including many palms. There is a steep cliff and small children would need to be supervised at all times when playing outside. There is a private stepped access to the beach ( at low tide) and sea below. Please note the steps to the beach/sea below are not regular steps and are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Although the grounds extend to approximately 1 acre, around 50% of this area is left as 'coastal scrub' area for the wildlife. The scrub area also acts as a natural barrier between the beach and the house making it more private. The steepness of the garden makes it unsuitable for anyone with mobility access requirements. The direct private stepped access to the beach (low tides) and sea below is the perfect or all water sports, kayaking, paddle boarding or getting to the surf in Crantock bay.. A Sonos system is available both inside and outside the living areas. There are electrically operated blinds to all living areas and bedrooms. Sleeping and chilling: Every bedroom is a minimum of 4M x 5M in area plus a generous ensuite bathroom. Every bedroom has not only a balcony overlooking the beach and sea, you can actually watch the waves while lying in bed. All beds are super-king in size and in 2 of the rooms the beds will separate into singles if required. Two of the bedrooms are over 6.5m x6m plus the bathroom in addition one large room has a pull down queen bed , another has a sofa bed so the house can sleep 18 if 4 children share with parents. Every bedroom has a smart TV and fast broadband is available in all habitable areas of the house. There are 2 inside/outside easy chairs to each bedroom- drinks on the balcony will be a must. Bathe: 3 of the bathrooms have a separate bath ( as well as a shower) all with sea view- perfect for watching wild seas or just the changing scenes of the beach at low tide. There is no obscure glass anywhere, if privacy is required you just close the blinds. Other amenity areas: There is an additional separate living room at the second floor- this has a 75 inch TV plus 'games' such as table football or ping pong table... to be decided. A useful space for different generations to hang out or watch TV. There is also a snug adjacent to the main living/dining area where guests could either work or children can play x-box games without feeling a long way from the main action. The snug can be supervised from the kitchen via 'peep' window if necessary. Styling: The interior has a minimalist style, more 'urban meets beach' than a 'coastal/seaside' interior. The walls are kept mainly white so that nothing distracts from the coastal views outside. The colour palette is soft pale earths/stone/wood/concrete colours punctuated with splashes of coastal hues in the furnishings. All furniture is good quality and new and mainly from Italy, the living area has modern Italian leather sofas. The ground floor is tiled with underfloor heating so no worry about small children marking the carpets or dogs paws... these same tiles run out onto the main terrace to the pool. The first floor and bedroom areas are oak engineered flooring. No expense has been spared to create a very modern, luxurious but comfortable holiday home. The house is located on the Pentire headland in a quiet residential area with no through road. Only 50 yards from the gate is the Pentire headland which is great for walking dogs or just walking! It is around 1 mile to Newquay town centre but only 10 minutes walk to Fistral beach and other famous Newquay beaches. We hope this house is going to make some lovely memories for many families. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to all of the house and garden. Other things to note Sea Point is ideal for large gatherings of family or friends and beach lovers whether they are surfers or just enjoy the pleasures of the sand and sea. It is completely private and used exclusive, offering guests complete freedom to enjoy their stay with worry of upsetting the near neighbours. The jewel in the crown of this house on the cliff is that it has its own private access to the beach below by steps. You can literally surf from the bottom of the garden, or paddle board kayak or any other water sport. The immediate area has several very good restaurants, many of which welcome children and dogs. There is a golf course only 5 minutes drive away, extensive cliff top walks and Newquay town centre and harbour are 15 minutes walk away ( 5 minutes drive). Security- there are external cameras that pick up the 4 sides to the house. These cameras are there for security for when the house is vacant. please note that the cameras are not checked during occupation and the camera that overlooks the pool is always disabled during guests occupation. You will see that the camera is physically covered up so there is no mistake that it is on.
