Gaffers Cottage on a farm near Norwich (5 miles)

This is a very popular cottage for family & friends to get together for weekends, holidays and celebrations. It has been fully modernized and furnished to a high standard over the years without losing the charm of exposed beams, wall ties and an open fire. The well equipped kitchen & breakfast area has a range cooker and opens into a generous dining room. The living room opens onto a private patio and garden. A ground floor bedroom and bathroom allow less mobile visitors to be included. The space Gaffers cottage ground floor has a large kitchen, dinning room, living room, bathroom and twin bedroom. The 1st floor has a bathroom, 2 ensuite family bedrooms and 2 twin bed rooms, the first family room has a queen size bed and 1 single bed on request, the second family room has a queen size bed and up to two singles. There is a shared games barn onsite (open all year round), which has table tennis, pool table and toys for the smaller ones. There is another Games Room with a snooker table, darts board and table tennis, this room can be booked for private sessions. Around the grounds there are swings and climbing frames. During May to September guests may use the outdoor solar and air pump heated pool and Tennis court which is located at the main farm (a short walk of 10 minutes or a 2 minute drive). Dogs are welcome in this cottage and there is a charge at £15 per pet. Our booking system is currently not syncing this extra cost with Airbnb, we hope to have this sorted ASAP. In the meantime the pet fee can be sent across as an extra on the price or paid on arrival. Guest access Guests have full access to the grounds, woodland and farmland walks (dogs must be kept on leads at all times to protect the horses and their riders sharing the same path). The games barn is onsite and is open all year, but is not heated so wrap up during winter. This barn is shared amongst all guests throughout their stay. There is a second games room that can be booked for private 1 hourly slots. In this room there is: 65" smart tv and seating area, pool table, tennis table and darts board. The outdoor pool is located at the north end of the 700 acre farm 1/2 a mile walk or 2 minute drive from the cottages and is open from May to September as are the grassed tennis courts. There is a hardcourt tennis court at south end of the farm, open all year, this is a 1/2 mile walk, available all year but you will need to bring your own rackets and balls. Other things to note We are currently adhering to government guidelines during the COVID-19 crisis, if your booking contravenes the regulations you may be asked to book another cottage or your booking may be at risk of cancellation.
