This beautiful 2bed, 2bath apartment, with parking, in the heart of Windsor, is an exceptional find. With Windsor Castle (watch the marching bands for the Changing of the Guard pass right outside your front door!), Windsor Great Park, The Guildhall, beautiful Eton and its own historic town centre with fabulous shops, restaurants, bars and clubs all only minutes away on foot, you couldn't be better placed for your stay. Windsor is also a very short drive from both Ascot Racecourse and Legoland. The space The apartment gives so much more than any hotel room - two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely open-plan kitchen/dining/living space, all accessed off a long, light hallway: ~ The apartment's front door is on the second floor of the building, up two short flights of stairs from the main entrance, which can be accessed from the car park at the back or the High Street at the front. The entrance hall has a very useful cupboard with space for shoes and coats, so they don't get in your way during your stay; ~ The living area has a very comfortable chaise sofa and chair, with a wall-mounted 55" Smart TV (with all apps available for you to log in to) and storage unit underneath. There is an HDMI cable in this unit for you to easily plug in external consoles etc if required. ~ There is a well-equipped kitchen, with pots, pans, crockery, glasses, utensils and cutlery, plus a Dualit kettle, toaster and pod coffee machine. Some olive oil, herbs and spices (including salt & pepper) are provided for your use, as well as kitchen foil, cling film and food bags. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with two bar stools and a dining table that can seat 5, borrowing one chair from the desk in the second bedroom. ~ The principal bedroom has a very comfortable Kingsize bed (5' x 6'6"/150cm x 200cm), two bedside tables with lights and USB sockets, a built-in wardrobe, wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV (no terrestrial channels but all apps available) and en-suite shower room (with underfloor heating - so lovely on those chilly mornings!). There is a travel cot and cot-bedding inside the cupboard, and a hairdryer in the drawers; ~ Bedroom two has a triple bunk bed - a full size single (3' x 6'3"/90cm x 190cm) on top and a full size double (4'6"' x 6'3"/135cm x 190cm) on the bottom - perfect for children or adults alike. There is a smart desk (with a built-in bluetooth speaker and several charging points) with a lamp over and a wardrobe with both hanging space and drawers; ~ The main bathroom (also with underfloor heating) is a good sized room that has a bath with a shower over and a glass shower screen, a toilet and sink with a large toiletries drawer underneath. Great for a long soak, or for getting the kids ready for bed, with plenty of space to move around. ~ There is a Guest Manual in the property, giving clear instructions how to use every appliance as well as lots of information about the local area. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment for your stay You will be able to park your car in the carpark at the rear of the building and can access the building from the car park (through a gate and along a winding, somewhat narrow and uneven path with a few steps), or from the High Street at the front which involves negotiating a few steps, both up and down. Other things to note • There will be some tea bags, coffee pods, kitchen bits and toilet roll to get you started, but should you need anymore during your stay, or any other food and drink, there are a couple of well-known supermarkets within walking distance and several you can drive to (please see the Guest Manual in the apartment for more information). • The apartment wifi is TalkTalk Fast Broadband and has an average download speed of 19mbps. • “RoSPA recommends that children under the age of six years do not use the upper bunk. Parents should also consider very carefully whether allowing a child younger than six to sleep on the bottom bunk is safe for them, toddlers can get trapped. Babies should always have their own cots. NB Most accidents involving bunk beds occur when children are playing on them. Children should be encouraged not to play on bunk beds.” • We have a Ring doorbell on the front door which will be active throughout your stay, but the footage will only be accessed if any problems arise. • The apartment is located down the quieter, side of the building and does not overlook the front main road. • There are no cameras nor audio recording devices inside the property.
