This lovely home in a brand new neighborhood offers an outstanding location, just off the main street of historic downtown West Jefferson. Enter through the quaint covered front porch and enjoy all the conveniences of a modern open floor plan. The kitchen, dining and living spaces are all contained in one large great room with sparkling hardwood floors and lots of natural light. The kitchen features new cabinets, a gas stove, granite countertops and stainless appliances. The adjacent dining area provides a table and six chairs, with additional seating for 3 available in cushy high-backed chairs along the spacious kitchen island. This well-equipped space is perfect for entertaining or money-saving meals at home. Of course, the dining and kitchen areas flow seamlessly into the living space, where you’ll enjoy relaxing in the reclining couch and love seat around the gas fireplace or watching TV. From here you can also step directly out onto the back deck, to take in the great outdoors. The master bedroom is conveniently located on the main level as well, offering a private TV and a king-size bed for a great night’s sleep. The private en suite master bath has a separate tub and shower, as well as the convenience of a dual vanity. There’s a handy half-bath on the main level as well, plus a washer and dryer for your use. Upstairs you’ll find two extra bedrooms, as well as a loft with a trundle bed with two twins. One of these bedrooms has a king-size bed and the other has a queen. Both have TV’s! All four TVs are connected to the internet so all guests can stream their favorite shows using their accounts. The upstairs bedrooms share another full-size bath with a dual vanity and shower/tub combination. Ready to get outside? West Town Way sits on a large lot with views from both the front porch and the back deck. Both are great locations for enjoying bird song and a beverage, or conversation with your favorite people. From the front porch you’ll look across to one of Ashe County’s famous Christmas tree farms while enjoying your morning coffee, and the back deck faces the open hillside. With no houses either in front of or behind you, you’ll enjoy the sense of wide-open spaces. Picnic table and eating area on the back deck with gas grill and fire pit area. When you’re ready to go exploring, you’ll be amazed to see how close you are to all the attractions of charming downtown West Jefferson. What a great location for a getaway! In 2 minutes you can be in the heart of West Jefferson, enjoying small town America at its finest. Experience the shops, restaurants, breweries, galleries, movie theaters and festivals, and watch cheese being made at the famous Ashe County Cheese Factory. Don’t miss the great antiques shopping at Antiques and Main, just a minute from the cabin. When you’re ready for restaurant dining, you’ll find several options in both West Jefferson. If you like craft beer, check out Boondocks and New River Brewing. Fine dining is available at Craft Bistro, and Slice is the place for pizza. As you venture out to explore, visit Boone and Blowing Rock, for an even wider assortment of dining, entertainment and shopping options. Go straight to your vacation cabin with your specific lockbox/door code. PRO TIPS: (1) We recommend you place the key back in the lockbox to prevent an accidental lockout as there is an extra key inside! (2) Screen print directions & codes (in case cell service struggles) & bring a flashlight if arriving after dark. (3) To open the Vault Lockbox, enter the lockbox code by lining up the numbers in the middle. Grab the sides of the lockbox with your thumb and forefinger and pull the lockbox face towards you.
