Here the sun shines! Our house is part of a complex directly by the sea, surrounded by a large outdoor area with garden and sun terrace leading directly to the pool. Within walking distance: restaurants, bars and shopping facilities as well as small bays and large beaches - fun for young and old! El Medano is one of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in the world! Surfing, golfing, mountain biking, hiking and racing biking are also possible. Various children's parks are nearby. The space Our house with own entrance is part of a complex directly on the sea. As a semi-detached house it is surrounded by a wind-protected large terrace with a front garden area. Over the rear sun terrace one has a direct access to a large community pool. On the ground floor there is an open kitchen, a spacious living room with access to the garden, as well as a toilet and a utility room with washing machine. On the second floor are two bedrooms with two balconies (one open and one covered). Both bedrooms have a double bed, a single bed and a private bathroom with shower-bathtub. Our house offers bed linen, towels, kitchen towels, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, induction stove, oven, blender, toaster, hand mixer, sandwich maker, osmosis filter with tap for drinking water, Charcoal grill and gas grill with gas bottle. Fiber wifi throughout the house, Smart TV and Bluetooth speakers. Bicycles 2x with bicycle trailer (use of sports equipment etc. at your own risk). Surf racks for up to 9 surfboards in the house. Children: bike trailer for two children, baby crib, baby chair. Other things to note Here the sun shines 364 days a year! El Medano is one of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in the world! It is a lively little Canarian town with many bars, restaurants, small boutiques and many stores around surfing and water sports. In summer it is a bit windy on this side of the island (but our terrace and pool are sheltered from the wind). The island is also a mecca for surfing, golfing, mountain biking, hiking (Teide volcano) and road biking. For kids there are some cool parks like the Loro Park (with orcas, dolphins, sea lions), the Aqualand and the Siam Park (gigantic water theme park). About us: We are a family of four who had long dreamed of a sunny house by the sea near waves :) We have therefore furnished our Casa del Mar in such a way that it offers plenty of space for any kind of water sports equipment and has both outside and inside cozy corners to relax and enough space for the whole family. Since we have also used it a lot for home office, we have a very good internet quality everywhere. Sustainability is also very important to us, which is why we installed an osmosis filter for drinking water, which significantly reduces plastic waste. The entire facility is also currently working on generating their electricity needs via solar panels starting next year.
