The space Welcome to your Hilltop Hideaway, a private cabin retreat nestled on over 4 acres in the heart of Knoxville. Wake up to serene forest views and sip your morning coffee on the deck, soaking in the tranquility of your secluded escape. The cabin's inviting living room, with its vaulted ceiling and cozy brick fireplace, is the perfect place to unwind. The modern, fully furnished kitchen provides all the essentials you need for your stay. After a day of adventure, you'll find comfortable and spacious living for up to 8 guests. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: * Upstairs Primary Bedroom: King bed with an en-suite full bathroom featuring a soaking tub. * Main Level Bedroom 1: Queen bed. * Main Level Bedroom 2: Queen bed. * Living Room: Queen pull-out sofa. A second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is also located on the main level. AMENITIES & ENTERTAINMENT: * Large enclosed sunroom with a 6-person hot tub, available year-round. * Retro-inspired arcade machine for hours of fun. * Full-size pool table for friendly competitions. * Outdoor gravel firepit area, complete with a Solo Stove and seating for eight, perfect for sharing stories under the stars. * High chair and Pack-n-Play available for guests with children. Please just let us know if you need them at the time of booking. While there may be some firewood remaining from a previous stay, wood is not provided, but can be purchased at the Food City nearby. We have approximately 9 acres of wooded hillside between this property (4 acres) and the adjoining private property. You’ll find clearly marked trails to explore the ridge top. Our hideaway is perfect for everyone. Whether you're looking to unwind and relax or explore the beautiful surroundings of Knoxville and the nearby Great Smoky Mountains, we have everything you need. We provide all the necessary amenities for your stay, including free WiFi, parking, and kitchen/cooking essentials. As you wind up the hill on our 1/4 mile drive, keep an eye out for the families of turkeys and deer that may be following some of the trails in the surrounding woods. Guest access Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire home and the surrounding 4+ acres of property. The only exception is the basement, which is locked and not accessible to guests as it is undergoing a beautification process. For your safety, we ask that you please stay on the clearly marked trails when exploring the property. There are markers where your trail access ends due to private property. Other things to note The property is truly a “hilltop”. Although the driveway is paved concrete, we recommend no vehicles larger than a pickup truck due to the four sweeping switchbacks. We also have plenty of space for parking in the gravel lot or on the concrete driveway. We ask that you do not park in the garage. There is wildlife on the property (deer, turkey, raccoons). We ask that you enjoy watching from a distance, and of course, no hunting on the property. Likewise, be mindful of leaving windows or doors open, as it can let in bugs and other wildlife friends that should remain outdoors. As the trails are more natural than groomed, the surfaces can be uneven and contain roots or sticks. Please exercise common sense when using them. The minimum age to book our beautiful cabin is 25 years or older. Please note, no smoking in the home or on the property. Also, this home is not suitable for parties or loud gatherings.
