Walk to Tlaquepaque, shops, galleries and restaurants, then return to a quiet, peaceful local neighborhood. The 2 story studio is an extension of our home, though your space is completely separate with private access. Hike some of our favorite trails right from the house. When you get back, climb the spiral staircase to access your private rooftop deck with sweeping 360° Red Rock views, and unobstructed stargazing! A one of a kind Airbnb! The space The lower level features the well-equipped kitchenette, with dining area for two and a rolling island. Also, your spacious bathroom, with luxurious shower head system and double vanity with ample counter space. Upstairs is the main living space with King bed, several seating areas and a large dining table, made from a piece of an old bowling alley lane from Winslow, AZ! There is also a small closet with a sink for water access without heading downstairs. The TV has access to Netflix as well as YouTube TV for any live TV or sports watching. All other apps (Hulu, Amazon, etc are on the TV, however would require you to log in to your own account, at this time.) Guest access Please park on the left side of the driveway, about halfway up, by the La Casa Bowstring Guest sign. Other things to note At La Casa Bowstring, you’ll be staying in a peaceful neighborhood with locals walking their dogs and chatting along the way. Please respect our neighborly feel, greeting others if you’re comfortable. This is indeed a quiet and tranquil area, we hope you will feel and appreciate this aspect of staying with us! Most importantly, we ask that you maintain a reasonable noise level while enjoying the rooftop deck, especially at night while star gazing! However, you are centrally located - 3/4 mile to Tlaquepaque, and, in less than a mile's walk along Morgan Rd., you can access the Broken Arrow/Hog Wash trail systems! Your co-host, Mitch, grew up in Sedona, and now calls this beautiful place home with his family - young daughter and dog included! The studio is an extension of our home, and we live here full time, however, your space is completely separated and private to you. It's really a comfortable space - clean and relaxing. Hike our favorite trails from the house - any number of combinations on the Broken Arrow, Hog Wash, Mystic/Chapel Trail Systems. The Sedona Shuttle, which offers the only access to the main trailhead for Cathedral Rock while it is running (Thurs-Sun), collects from the shuttle stop just at the bottom of Bowstring Dr.! When you get back, climb the spiral staircase to access your private rooftop deck with sweeping 360° Red Rock views including Twin Buttes, Cathedral Rock, and even Airport Vortex! Head back up after dark and lay back in the loungers for an unobstructed view of the star filled sky and even the Milky Way. It's truly stunning! To cool off in the hot summer months, the Sedona Community Pool is an inexpensive ($3/person!) option located by West Sedona School in Posse Grounds Park in West Sedona. w w w . s e d o n a a z . g o v Los Abrigados is within walking distance, next to Tlaquepaque, and offers day passes to their Spa facilities including 2 outdoor heated pools, large hot tub, and tennis/pickleball courts. $35/person; $60/couple, or included with a spa treatment! w w w . s e d o n a s p a . c o m And of course, there is Oak Creek! There are easy to access creek spots down Verde Valley School Rd. in the Village of Oak Creek (South Sedona) out to Red Rock Crossing; or north through Oak Creek Canyon - also offering often less utilized, and cooler shady hikes for summer months!
