Welcome to the our Mt Hood Cabin! Nestled in a stunning neighborhood with picturesque walking trails and old growth trees. We are located along the Wild and Scenic Zigzag River in the lush Mt. Hood National Forest! Brand-new remodel, this wood cabin has all original bones with modern updates and a HOT TUB! 2500 square feet, has 4 queen beds, and a bunk bed with a trundle Perfectly located, we're 15 minutes from Mt. Hood, 45 minutes from PDX Airport, with many high-quality restaurants nearby. This is a brand-new, remodeled, quaint, modern cabin in the heart of Mt. Hood National Forest in Rhododendron, Oregon. Just ten minutes from Government Camp and several Mt. Hood Ski Resorts. We furnished this space with luxury and comfort in mind and it is truly one of a kind in this area. Rhodie River Ranch is three stories high, and can sleep up to 12 guests, including 4 queen beds: 1 "master" bedroom with a wood bed frame and queen bed, 2 queens in the upstairs bedroom, 1 in the downstairs television room, and 2 full beds on the bunk bed. The bunk bed has a third pull-out twin bed. Our beautifully renovated mountain cabin, with floor to ceiling wood panels, also featured a brand new, immaculate 8 person hot tub. This cabin boasts brand new flooring, with fresh sanding and staining completed just a few months ago on the walls. We have several large gathering areas for families, friends, and ski-bums alike. Our cabin has two separate living rooms with 55 inch televisions and sectional sofas. We also have a large kitchen table that seats 8-12. The entire purpose of this cabin is to give visitors to the Pacific Northwest easy access to Portland and Mt. Hood, while simultaneously feeling the escape of Oregon’s forests and fresh air. This location is perfect for trail runners, or those that like to mountain bike for recreation or sport. The home sits on just under an acre, including two hundred yards from the Zigzag River. The cabin has brand new, comfortable queen beds with down comforter, duvets and large pillows. The unit has several brand new stainless steel appliances, and a large in-unit washer and dryer for your laundry convenience. We have plenty of dishware and cooking utensils for our guests, and a single serve coffee machine with coffee pods provided. The living room has a smart TV with Netflix, HBO, ESPN, Hulu, and other channels for your viewing pleasure. We're equipped with high-speed Wifi throughout the house. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and extra towels are all provided for our guests' comfort. This is a perfect space for business travelers, families, or a quick weekend getaway. Take time just outside of Portland to relax at Government Camp, Timberline Lodge, or the other local ski resorts, or enjoy nature in the Columbia River Gorge or Mt. Hood National Park. Eat at one of our many local famous restaurants, or go grocery shopping nearby and cook at the cabin. There's tons of free parking on the property, as we can fit four vehicles. We have done our best to make this place feel like home by including local books and board games. It is our way of sharing what our wonderful state of Oregon has to offer. For any additional needs, our property manager will be readily available throughout your stay. Located along the Mt. Hood Scenic Byway on a 19th-century pioneer wagon route, Rhododendron nestles into the western flank of the craggy peak. The terrain that proved so treacherous for wagons today makes for great mountain biking. With easy access to outdoor pursuits year-round, Rhododendron exudes the warmth of a friendly alpine town. Hit the trails, head to the slopes or simply relax. Most daily needs such as groceries, restaurants, shopping, and access to the mountain, as well as parks and other outdoor areas require a car, however, there are also walkable nature spots nearby, too!
