Enjoy a relaxing getaway at this 132-acre estate with 4 private lakes on the Satilla River. Conveniently located 30 minutes from Brunswick and 40 minutes from St Simons Island and Jekyll Island. Hike, Fish, Swim, Kayak, Canoe, play a board game or just sit on the front porch and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and breathtaking views. The only thing you'll regret is not being able to stay longer. The space Imagine canoeing around our private lake, watching the sunset or hiking through the woods on our private trails and enjoying the peaceful sounds of wildlife. Go fishing from the shore or take out one of the fishing boats. Enjoy coffee and a book on the wide front porch. When you arrive at the cabin (the red roof) you will walk up steps onto a wide wrap-around porch. When inside you will find an open floor plan. The main level has a dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and large walk-in closet. The living room area has a pull-out sofa, three chairs, and smart tv. To get to the loft you will ascend a beautiful spiral staircase and find one double bed and 4 singles. there is also a cozy place in the loft for watching tv or reading. After a long day of playing and exploring, relax and unwind around the fire pit on the front patio as you watch the sunset while taking in the breathtaking views. You are free to explore the property and have access to the lake, boats, fishing pools, pool and more. Guest access Guests will be provided with a temporary pass to a private boat ramp on the Satilla River for the duration of their stay. Our home is also on the property (the brown house in the pictures). We respect your need for privacy, but also welcome interaction. We are able to respond quickly to issues if any should arise. We offer shared amenities, including a swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, eating spaces, and our well-stocked board game library with over 100 games. Other things to note Some important things to note: 1. You must be able to climb stairs to stay in the cabin. There is a spiral staircase that leads to the beds. 2. We are on well water and the water in this area has a sulfur smell. We prefer not to drink and imagine you probably feel the same. We provide drinking water for the duration of your stay. Please do NOT stay here if you are uncomfortable with sulfur smell in the water. 3. On rare occasions the property floods and some areas may be unavailable. Be sure to check with us prior to booking. 4. Pets are permitted but we have 3 outdoor cats and 4 children that roam the property. Please make sure your pets are friendly and house trained.
