Country Penthouse

Escape to the Country Penthouse - a peaceful private retreat nestled among the trees in the beautiful Tennessee countryside. Enjoy your own deck and balcony while staying just minutes from historic downtown Dickson and about 45 minutes from Nashville. Nearby you'll find local restaurants, antique shops, charming small towns and outdoor recreation. Perfect for visiting family, exploring Middle Tennessee or simply relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. The space The Country Penthouse occupies the entire second level of our private residence and offers a comfortable, peaceful space for up to 3 guests. The sleeping area features a pillow-top queen bed with two nightstands, lamps with USB charging ports and a ceiling fan. On the adjacent side is a twin bed, chest of drawers and chair. The living area includes a loveseat, storage ottoman, accent chair, end table and lamp with USB charging port. A beautifully repurposed armoire houses an adjustable mounted Smart TV and refreshment station with a coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sweeteners, cups and stirrers provided), mini refrigerator, microwave, paper plates and plasticware. A toaster is also available and stored in the walk-in closet when not in use. A dining/workspace with two chairs is located next to the living area. The walk-in closet provides hanging space with plenty of hangers, along with an iron and ironing board, oscillating fan, collapsible dish-drying rack, extra paper towels and toilet paper, and extra trash bags. The bathroom features a stand-up tiled shower, vanity sink with storage drawers, towels, a small hair dryer and a selection of essential toiletries. Step outside and enjoy your own private deck and balcony overlooking the peaceful Tennessee countryside. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the entire Country Penthouse, including the private entrance, deck and balcony. The space is dedicated entirely to you and your registered guests during your stay. The Country Penthouse is located on the second level and is accessed by an outdoor staircase. There is no elevator, so guests must be comfortable climbing stairs to enter and exit the space. Designated guest parking is provided. We kindly ask guests to respect the lower deck, carport and workshop as our family's private areas. Other things to note A few important things to know before booking: • The Country Penthouse does not have a full kitchen or cooking facilities. There is no kitchen sink, stove, cooktop or oven. A microwave, toaster, coffee maker and mini refrigerator are provided. The mini refrigerator does not have a freezer or ice maker. • Septic system: Use ONLY the toilet paper we provide. Do not flush wipes, feminine products, tissues, paper towels or other items. • Because the Country Penthouse is located above our family's living area, there may occasionally be times when you hear us and we hear you. We do our best to keep noise to a minimum and ask our guests to do the same. No loud music or parties, please. • Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. • NO SMOKING is permitted inside the Country Penthouse or on the private deck or balcony. If you would like to smoke, please do so only by your vehicle and dispose of cigarette butts appropriately. • For trash accumulated during your stay, two large trash bins are located under the carport. You'll pass them on your right as you walk toward your designated parking spot. Please feel free to place bagged trash in either bin as needed.
