Situated on the Dora Canal, minutes from downtown Tavares, Mount Dora, Leesburg and Eustis which host events, concerts and festivals year round. Bring your own boat or rent our available Pontoon boat & enjoy cruising the Harris Chain of Lakes, even docking & exploring the fantastic local shops, restaurants & bars. The space This home offers 2 living areas. The front living room is beautifully decorated with 2 sofas and 2 super soft leather recliners for seating as well as a Samsung Smart TV and an assortment of books in the tv console table. The back living (family) room is well furnished with a large comfy sectional, Samsung Smart TV, an assortment of board games, puzzles in the tv console table, a pac man arcade game and tons of DVD movies for that throw back fell for movie night. The primary bedroom has a King size adjustable, vibrating bed, large walk in closet, dresser, 2 night stands, Samsung Smart TV and a desk. The Primary ensuite bathroom showcases a luxurious soaker tub, separate walk in shower and a large vanity with 2 sinks. Bedroom #2 is a super cute guest room with a Queen size bed, a dresser, nightstand and a TV. Bedroom #3 is an adorable guest room with 2 Twin bunk beds (sleep 4 total with a 200 lb maximum weight limit each bed), a dresser and a TV. The guest bath has a walk in shower and a single vanity. The kitchen is completely updated with plenty of storage, has an eat in area with seating for 4 and a small island. We also have a coffee bar area featuring a Keurig coffee maker & a toaster. The dining room has a large dining table with 8 chairs and a china cabinet with stemware. The outdoor covered patio has 2 rocking chairs and a dining table that can seat up to 8. The outdoor pavered fire pit area has 8 adirondack chairs for seating. Carport with covered parking for 2 vehicles. (oversized/lifted vehicles will not fit under enclosure) Outside we offer a gas barbecue grill for use. For outdoor recreation, we offer kayaks and a paddle boat for use as well as a boat dock that can house your boat during your stay. Guest access Within 48 hours of check in, we will text and/or email as well as through the booking channel the front door code and any other check in instructions. Other things to note The Dora Canal Cottage offers TV's in all bedrooms, living rooms and on the outdoor patio. The kitchen is stocked with utencils, plates, cups, pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking dishes, baking sheet, blender, toaster and coffee maker. The laundry room houses an iron and ironing board, washer and dryer, Each bathroom has a hair dryer. In the living rooms there are various books or board games and puzzles and in the family room a pac man arcade game. Outside we offer a gas barbecue grill. For outdoor recreation, we offer kayaks and a paddle boat for use as well as a boat dock where you can house your boat during your stay.
