The Woodsy Hill Retreat is perfectly located near the Rogue River and easy access to I5 freeway only 8 minutes away. Escape from the daily grind and retreat to this peaceful place. The space Escape to our inviting 650 sqft attached guest cabin, nestled amidst the serene forest. This cozy retreat features a spacious mixed use bedroom with living area seamlessly connected to a remodeled kitchenette, offering a perfect space for dining, and relaxing. Surrounded by windows, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the treetops and the visiting wildlife, including deer and turkeys. Property is gated and private. Furnished with 2 comfortable futons, the living area invites you to unwind with a good book, play board games, or simply soak in the peaceful ambiance. Step out onto the deck to enjoy outdoor seating, fresh air, and nature's beauty. 4 people can stay comfortably, we can provide an air mattress for a small fee for the 5th person but it will not be as spacious. The cabin offers two separate sleeping areas for your convenience. The main bedroom features a queen bed and a futon, while a smaller room combines a sleeping nook with a functional kitchenette and dining area. Perfect for a small family or a couple’s retreat, this charming space provides all the essentials for a memorable stay. Whether you're hiking in the surrounding woods, enjoying the deck, or cozying up indoors, this guest cabin is the perfect getaway year-round! The charming private cabin shares a wall with the main house. It has its own entrance and convenient parking. Separated from the main house by a full length hallway which is your private entrance and laundry rooms. The space feels like your own private apartment next door. Optional Add On’s: Air mattress $25 Early Check-in $30 Guest access Guests have access to the entire attached 650sqft cabin and acreage. Owners closet is locked for safekeeping. There is a circular driveway with lots of parking available. There is a .25 mile trail throughout the 5 acres for your enjoyment. There are frequent visits by deer, turkeys, a few squirrels, and birds. Parking can accommodate trailers hauling rafts, moving trucks and multiple vehicles. When you access the beginning of the trail there is seating with a private propane fire-pit and supplies for you to make S'mores. Whether you are here to relax or reconnect with nature, our goal is for your stay to be truly peaceful and a unique experience surrounded by Oregon's natural beauty. Other things to note AC/ HEATER Please turn off thermostat with remote when you are not at the cabin Please ensure doors and windows closed when air conditioner or heat is on. We store the pack n play off and fence off site. Prior to check in, notify us if you would like access to those amenities. We do provide a gas barbecue located on the deck outside your cabin. CAUTION: The house is on top of a hill and the driveway is steep. Please drive with caution especially in the dark put your high beams on to see. There may be poison oak and wasps at the property. House is in the forest and there may be bugs present. Parking We have a gravel circular driveway with lots of parking available. There is a wood burning stove in the bedroom which is not available to be used. It heats the room up like an oven.
