The space "Rusty’s Retreat" sits on 3.5 acres at the top of a mountain. You will have the entire cabin and outdoor areas to yourself! Sit under the stars and roast marshmallows, view the sunsets by the fire or the mountain views from the hot tub or deck. The deck overlooks the mountains and is a relaxing place to grill out, or lounge on the deck furniture! If you are looking for a night in, enjoy the multiple board games or watch a movie as you sit by the fireplace. If you are looking to explore the historic Civil War town of New Market, you are minutes away! This quaint small town has much to offer with antiques, farmer’s market, and cafes. Nearby you can access the Shenandoah River where you will see people fishing, canoeing, tubing, kayaking, and swimming! Other things to note Important things to know before you book: There will be 1 mile of gravel road to access our cabin. Our cabin is located in the mountains. Very low clearance vehicles such as sports cars may have difficulty on the gravel roads. During the winter months our main roads are salted and cleared of snow. However, during rare snowy conditions 4WD is recommended to access the cabin as our driveway is not plowed unless snowfall is above 4". 4WD is not needed in normal conditions. Our main roads are very well maintained.
