There are areas in the kitchen pantry and the primary bedroom closet that are for host use only, however. The garage is off-limits (special exception during extreme weather event). It is within walking distance of Ki' Mexico, Marilynn's Place, and Lowder Bakery. There are other popular restaurants, shops and areas of interest nearby, including Rhino Coffee, Norton Art Gallery, Pham's Sandwich Shop, Whole Foods, Torchy's Tacos, Zuzul, Maxwell's Market, and Fat Calf Brasserie. During Mardi Gras season, the local parades are hugely popular. The Krewe of Highland Parade rolls within one block of the street this home is located on and is the perfect spot to stay during that time of year. There are several churches in the area and Centenary College is a short distance away. Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport-Academic Medical Center is a seven minute drive from the home. Betty Virginia Park is a four minute drive. Uber, Lyft, and rental cars are readily available in the area. Parking is residential, off-street. There is parking space for four cars on the property. Guests must observe all city and local ordinances and laws concerning noise levels and maintain respect for neighborhood standards and the privacy of others while staying on the property.
