Work & Play in our High Country hideaway

Our home is a quiet refuge in the forest. It is perfect for a visit to the “High Country” or a business trip. It is affordable, clean, and family friendly! We are minutes away to everything that Boone has to offer: App State, Samaritan’s Purse, Rocky Knob for mountain biking, downtown Boone and Blowing Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain and many other area attractions. The space You will love this warm, modern house in the forest. You will enjoy lightning fast internet and extensive TV choices, while relaxing at home. It is perfect for a family vacation to the mountains and convenient for business travelers. The loft bedroom is set up as a dedicated office space. It is close to Appalachian State University, multiple parks, hiking, Rocky Knob for mountain biking, etc. This private condo offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first level bedroom has a set of bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on the top. There is a walk in shower and laundry facilities in the first level bathroom as well. The loft bedroom has a stylish queen-sized bed and large walk in closets. There is a bathroom with a shower/tub combination. There is a dedicated office space in the loft with adjustable height desk, ergonomic chair, and 24” monitor. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences. It is set up with all that you will need for your stay, including basic hot breakfast items, a Keurig coffeemaker, as well as tea, sugar, and even a wide array of spices for cooking. The living room has a large flat screen TV with a Firestick and Alexa. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube TV (live) are available. The internet is reliable and fast, (220 MBps download and 120Mbps upload). In the winter a four wheel drive vehicle would be ideal, as the roads can be icy. Please be advised that the driveway is quite steep. Parking is allowed at the end of the street when the weather is icy/snowy. This is a private condo unit. There are people who live in the condo below. Please be aware that noise after 11pm needs to be kept at a minimum. No parties or large gatherings of any kind are allowed. This is a family neighborhood. A pack-n-play (with bedding) and high chair are available for use (please indicate need). *Note: on top of our usual thorough cleaning in between every group of guests, we are now disinfecting all frequently touched things such as light switches, door knobs, etc. We always wash all laundry between guests, clean all bathrooms with disinfectants, wipe down all kitchen areas with disinfectants, and vacuum and mop all floors.
