Brackenberry Cottage is a beautifully refurbished 2-bedroom period cottage in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Set within a charming row of traditional cottages, it is an ideal base for couples, families, walkers and cyclists seeking a relaxing forest escape !! Just a 7-minute walk from Lyndhurst High Street, you'll find restaurants, cosy pubs, shops and cafés. The open forest is moments away, with walking trails, cycle routes and chances to spot the famous New Forest ponies. The space The cottage is on 2 floors, the ground floor consisting of a living room with 2 sofas, smart TV ( includes Netflix) and a wood-burner. A dining room with a four seater table and a beautiful fireplace (non working) and the galley kitchen is just off the dining room and is fully equipped for your needs. The washing machine and an additional fridge/freezer is in an outbuilding just outside the Kitchen. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor. The cottage is well equipped for children, on request we can provide a cot, highchair, children's crockery and cutlery, and we have discrete stair-gates at both the top and the bottom of the stairs. To access the first floor, there are steep narrow stairs to the 2 bedrooms, both fitted out with luxurious bed linen from The White Company and snuggle down duvets. The rooms consist of: Master bedroom - King-size Bed Bedroom 2 - 2 single Beds (3ft) Access to the pretty cottage garden is located from the front of the house, where there is plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the garden, relax on the outdoor furniture and even have a BBQ . There is also a bike shed at the rear of the property which is ideal to lock up your bikes, scooters or a pram should you wish to bring them. Guest access You will have the exclusive use of the entire cottage, with the garden, a bike shed and street parking which is very close to the cottage. You can walk to Lyndhurst high street within 7 minutes.
