Brackenberry Cottage is a charming 2-bedroom cottage, located in a small row of period cottages, ideally located in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Having been refurbished to a high standard, the cottage is located within 7 mins walking distance of the village of Lyndhurst's high-street, which has a selection of fantastic restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes. The open forest is also a short distance from the cottage and leads to endless walks, cycle rides and heaps of exploring! The space The cottage is on 2 floors, the ground floor consisting of a living room with 2 sofas, smart TV ( includes Netflix) and a wood-burner. A dining room with a four seater table and a beautiful fireplace (non working) and the galley kitchen is just off the dining room and is fully equipped for your needs. The washing machine and an additional fridge/freezer is in an outbuilding just outside the Kitchen. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor. The cottage is well equipped for children, on request we can provide a cot, highchair, children's crockery and cutlery, and we have discrete stair-gates at both the top and the bottom of the stairs. To access the first floor, there are steep narrow stairs to the 2 bedrooms, both fitted out with luxurious bed linen from The White Company and snuggle down duvets. The rooms consist of: Master bedroom - King-size Bed Bedroom 2 - 2 single Beds (3ft) Access to the pretty cottage garden is located from the front of the house, where there is plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the garden, relax on the outdoor furniture and even have a BBQ . There is also a bike shed at the rear of the property which is ideal to lock up your bikes, scooters or a pram should you wish to bring them. Guest access You will have the exclusive use of the whole cottage, with the garden, a bike shed and street parking which is very close to the cottage. You can walk to Lyndhurst high street within 7 minutes.
