Lodge Cottage, woodland setting, Norwich 5 miles

This cottage offers quality accommodation with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom (with a roomy shower cubicle), a living room with wood burner and a well-equipped kitchen with a conservatory dining area. It's level access makes it particularly suitable for those with restricted mobility. The Lodge cottage has its own private garden area with parking and the woodland is right on your doorstep, if you are lucky you might even see some deer! The space On the main site of Spixworth Hall Cottages you will find it is set among beautiful scenery with ample farmland & woodland walks. Take advantage of the peace & quiet relaxing in our gardens, taking in the scenery. Or go exploring around our grounds, enjoy the duck pond & see the wonderful wildlife. There is plenty to see and do around our cottages. There is a shared games barn onsite (open all year round), which has table tennis, pool table and toys for the smaller ones. There is another Games Room with a snooker table, darts board and table tennis, this room can be booked for private sessions. Around the grounds there are swings and climbing frames. During May to September guests may use the outdoor solar and air pump heated pool and Tennis court which is located at the main farm (a short walk of 10 minutes or a 2 minute drive). Dogs are welcome in this cottage and there is a charge at £15 per pet. Our booking system is currently not syncing this extra cost with Airbnb, we hope to have this sorted ASAP. In the meantime the pet fee can be sent across as an extra on the price or paid on arrival. Guest access Guests have full access to the grounds, woodland and farmland walks (dogs must be kept on leads at all times to protect the horses and their riders sharing the same path). The games barn is open all year, but is not heated, so wrap up during winter. This barn is shared by all guests. There is a second games room with a 65" smart tv, seating area, darts board, table tennis and snooker table. This room has private bookable sessions. The outdoor pool is open from May to September as are the grassed tennis courts. Other things to note We are currently adhering to government guidelines during the COVID-19 crisis, if your booking contravenes the regulations you may be asked to book another cottage or your booking may be at risk of cancellation. Lodge Cottage is suitable for those with limited mobility, it has one step into the cottage (ramp available). There is a roomy shower cubicle. For long term wheelchair users - Stables Cottage is a 2 bedroom fully accessible cottage but this cottage cannot be booked online. You must contact us.
