Our cozy cottage features stunning views of Dyes Inlet. The sunrise and sunset views are truly amazing & you can enjoy them on the nice big deck, or warm & cozy in bed. It is fully furnished & includes 1 BR with closet, 1 BA & a full kitchen/dining room with refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven & all the essentials. Amenities include TV, DVDs & player, books & games, wi-fi, grill, use of canoe, kayak, bikes & rubber boots. And there lots of animals to visit! The space We are on 2.8 acres with a large amount of waterfront. The tide goes in and out twice a day. The cottage has a covered parking space and additional parking is available upon request. There is a personal a gas grill on the deck and you are allowed to use the canoe or kayaks (with a signed waiver). We have a large canoe as well as 3 adult and one child kayaks. We also provide most sizes of rubber boots for beach combing and several lawn games. During low tide, you can walk around the point as long as you stay on the beach. We have 2 big friendly dogs on the property that might want to visit you when you are outside, but they are not allowed inside the cottage. Feel free to explore the small nature trail, play the 6-goal disc golf course, or hang out at the beach front picnic table - when weather permits. There is also an Airstream AirBnb on the property that shares the rental gear and beach/nature trail area, although each place has their own dedicated kayaks. Guest access There is a 1 covered parking space for the cottage. The cottage has a wrap-around deck and water access. Other things to note Positioned as a perfect pitstop on your journey to the Olympic National Forest or the Washington coast, our location also offers proximity to excellent hiking and exploration opportunities. We have 2 friendly dogs that are allowed to roam the property at certain times of the day. The property is big, but they do love to greet new guests. So, if you do not like dogs, this might not be the right fit for you. Luna would love to play frisbee with you! Roscoe is laid back and loves scratches. We think his eyesight is not great, so he sometimes barks when he sees people at a distance, which but will quickly realize his mistake as he gets closer. We also have a friendly big black barn cat that will greet you. You may also see a Siamese cat and smaller black cat with a crooked tail that are a little skittish with new people. Please communicate with me if you have any concerns. Please feel free to feed veggie scraps to the chickens. There is a container with instructions in the cottage. You can also google what foods are safe to feed them. They will come running for treats and it’s a hilarious sight.
