Both the kitchen/diner and the living room have concertina doors which open on to the large garden which has the incredible sea views. The garden is enclosed making it ideal for guests bringing young children and/or pets. Guests will love sitting out on warm evenings and enjoying a glass of wine watching the sun set over the sea. All three of the double bedrooms are on the ground floor along with the family bathroom which has both a fabulous roll-top bath and a walk-in shower. There is an additional WC. Guests can enjoy off-road parking with space for up to two cars, as well as wireless internet available throughout the property. Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome. Western Watch is ideally located for West Cornwall’s incredible coastline and beaches. There are pubs, restaurants and cafes within easy reach. Pendeen itself has an attractive church and three pubs within walking distance, a chip shop, restaurant, corner shop, tapas cafe and a community hub. Every other Saturday there is a farmers' market in the centre of the town and another at Chypraze farm, which also has a farm shop, just down the road every Monday. Geevor and Levant Mines are popular tourist attractions only a short distance away. The white lighthouse of Pendeen Watch is an easy downhill mile away for walkers and from here it's just 10 minutes' walk down a track to the sandy inlet of Beach Cove, which is good for swimming. A further 15 minute walk along the coast path will take you to the hidden beach of Portheras Cove, which was recently voted ‘Best Secret Beach’ by The Times newspaper. Intrepid adventurers can reach Portheras in around 20 minutes via the more challenging track behind the house.
