Additional services such as Doordash or Instacart are not available in our area. How should I prepare for winter road conditions? Will my driveway be cleared? Please check the California Highway Conditions before driving to Tahoe! This is very important as road conditions can change rapidly. Vehicles should have 4WD or AWD, Winter rated tires and carry snow chains in case of emergency. Vehicles with 2-wheel drive are not recommended in mountainous, winter conditions. County and local snow removal companies work diligently during winter storms, be patient and drive slowly. Tahoe roads and driveways can be slanted, hilly, and steep. Parking Per county ordinance, street parking is not allowed under any circumstance. Each home has a designated number of parking spaces as determined by the county. This number cannot be exceeded. If you have more vehicles than are permitted on the property, please contact us and we can advise on additional parking. Follow recommendations from the California Highway Conditions and travel advisories. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
