Timber Trails Cabin is a small country home ideal for a relaxing getaway! It is centrally located in the heart of Northern Wisconsin’s recreational opportunities. Enjoy our trails on 60 acres or take a short drive to local lakes, the Brule River, or Lake Superior. Within walking distance is the Poplar Golf Course and Bar/Grill. At the end of the day, you can relax around a fire under the starry sky. If it is chilly outside enjoy the fireplace and some games, books, or movies! Cozy up to a crackling fire by our fire pit with attached grill and Adirondack style chairs. The view looks out over a hayfield with fireflies in the summer; on the other side is north woods forest. Hike 60 Acres of wild woods and dip your toes in the Middle River. Enjoy the trails, or make your own! We are next door and are working at making more trails and areas you can explore. You have complete privacy in the yard and home. We live next door and are reasonably available if things come up! Timber Trails Cabin is a home located on a paved county road. Less than 2 miles from Poplar (Hardware store, bank, Dollar General, and gas station). Poplar Golf Course is blocks away and has a restaurant as well. Lake Nebagamon, Brule, and Amnicon are nearby. 15 minutes from Superior/Duluth area. Area residences include farms and other country homes. You can park by the house in the driveway. Public transport is not available. The Tri-county corridor is 2 miles away for snowmobile and ATV travel. Get outside! We have a scavenger hunt, binoculars/bird watching book, and two pairs of snowshoes for winter hiking. We have a few great trails to explore in the forest and Middle River (could hike for easily an hour doing the trails once). Come skiing on the river in the winter and swimming/ wading in the summer. You’ll have sandy beaches and acres of woods all to yourself! Or bring a hammock and just enjoy some peace and quiet.
