Timber Trails Cabin is a small country home ideal for a relaxing getaway! It is centrally located in the heart of Northern Wisconsin’s recreational opportunities. Enjoy our trails on 60 acres or take a short drive to local lakes, the Brule River, or Lake Superior. Within walking distance is the Poplar Golf Course and Bar/Grill. At the end of the day, you can relax around a fire under the starry sky. If it is chilly outside enjoy the fireplace and some games, books, or movies! The space Cozy up to a crackling fire by our fire pit with attached grill and Adirondack style chairs. The view looks out over a hayfield with fireflies in the summer; on the other side is north woods forest. Hike 60 Acres of wild woods and dip your toes in the Middle River. Enjoy the trails, or make your own! We are next door and are working at making more trails and areas you can explore. Guest access You have complete privacy in the yard and home. There is a main bedroom with a queen bed, and a pullout queen couch in the fireplace room. There is a full bathroom with a walk in shower. The kitchen is also fully equipped with stove/oven, microwave, coffee makers, and toaster along with the usual kitchen supplies. Other things to note Get outside! We have a scavenger hunt, binoculars/bird watching book, and two pairs of snowshoes for winter hiking. We have a few great trails to explore in the forest and Middle River (could hike for easily an hour doing the trails once). Come skiing on the river in the winter and swimming/ wading in the summer. You’ll have sandy beaches and acres of woods all to yourself! Or bring a hammock and just enjoy some peace and quiet.
