Relax in our fully equipped, beautifully furnished, 3 br, 3 ba home in the center of laid-back Imperial Beach. Savor a glass of wine while watching the sunset from the private balcony overlooking the pier and ocean. Prepare a gourmet meal in the upscale, contemporary kitchen or walk to lively craft breweries and great restaurants. Easy access to downtown, just 20 minutes from the airport! Keypad entry, free private parking in gated garage, child friendly, hi speed WiFi. The space Our place can easily sleep 9, with 1 king and 3 queen beds. All the beds are premium quality mattresses with soft and comfortable bedding. One rollaway bed in the MBR closet if needed for a small adult or child. We have a Graco pack n play for an infant to sleep in as well. High chair too! The top floor master bedroom has a spectacular ocean view, a California King bed, full bath and walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom is also on the top floor, and has 2 queen beds, full bath and walk in closet. The 3rd bedroom, kitchen, living room and balcony are all on the main level. This bedroom has a queen size bed, full closet, and full bathroom. The unit has a tankless hot water heater, so you will not run out of hot water for showers, even with 8+ people. The living room, kitchen and balcony are all open concept space with beautiful views of the ocean and pier. Cantina glass doors open completely, as balcony becomes part of the living space. There are two large flat screen smart TVs, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. A small flat screen TV is in the downstairs bedroom. There is Sling Orange+Blue subscription for TV, with Roku, plus high speed wireless internet. The décor is relaxed “beach casual”, but also upscale and contemporary, with quartz countertops and new high end stainless steel appliances. We have enjoyed creating a relaxed and romantic, but also family friendly environment. Our home is in a small gated community of only 14 homes. The first floor is the covered and gated parking garage, with 2 spaces for you. An elevator serves the 1st and 2nd floors of the 3-story complex, so the main floor of the living units are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Each unit is 2 floors (2 & 3). Conveniently located yet quiet Brigantine Seafood restaurant is below. Anyone in a wheelchair can stay with us; they can be accommodated by the elevator and complete main floor bedroom with full bathroom. There are full time residents, so please be respectful of our home and the community! Guest access Our vacation condo is in a gated community with a gated garage. We will provide you with: * a gate code to get in to the building * a keyless entry code to get unit the unit. Once inside the unit you will find: * garage door openers * proximity transmitters to get inside the gates. * key for the trash area You will have access to the entire unit, common areas and 2 assigned spaces in the garage. There is a large shared courtyard area with tables, chairs and bistro lights. Wheelchair friendly access to main floor bedroom via elevator from parking garage. Other things to note Imperial Beach was voted the best place to live by San Diego Magazine in 2017. Perfect for a family vacation, girls getaway or romantic escape! The condo is just steps from the sunny beach, delicious local eateries, craft breweries and shops. If you need more than the 2 parking spaces located in our gated garage, there is free parking on the street and a very inexpensive paid parking lot across the street at the beach. Uber and Lyft are good also options to get around San Diego. For public transportation, San Diego has trolleys and buses to get you around the city and surrounding areas. The MTS bus routes 933 and 934 stop right outside our complex (934 outbound/933 return). You can go to downtown SD (Petco Park) by bus on 934/901 (return 901/933) or by 934/Blue Line trolley (return Blue Line/933). The Gaslamp Quarter and Convention Center are a short ride or trolley ride (Green Line) from there. If you need more public transportation information, let us know! There is a beach rental shop right across the street at the pier. We also have a storage unit in the parking garage with boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, a cooler, beach umbrellas and anything else we could fit in there for your enjoyment! Inside there are plenty of beach towels. Board games, frisbee, cards, books and more are in the cabinet under the living room tv to help you enjoy your stay. A toddler playground is across the street. Nearby coffee shops and ice cream on the Pier. We have created a binder full of information with restaurant information, menus and more. Many brochures for area activities are available in the entryway cabinet.
