This vacation home is the perfect stay for exploring Virginia wine country, trips to Shenandoah National Park or a just weekend getaway relaxing in the mountainside hot tub or sitting by the fire pit. It is easily accessible to the Appalachian Trails, Shenandoah river, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Skyline Caverns, wineries, and downtown Front Royal. This adorable vacation home is great for large groups or two families and only 1hr 20m from DC. The space Sleeping arrangements: Master Bedroom: King Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Queen Bed | Bedroom 4 (lower level) King Bed | Additional Sleeping: Bunk beds (2 twins and 2 queen beds) INDOOR LIVING: Wood-burning fireplace, 2 flat-screen smart TVs, board games, vintage speakers KITCHEN: Fully equipped, dishwasher, toaster, French press, pancake griddle, coffee maker, Crock-Pot, microwave GENERAL: Fast WiFi, excellent cell phone reception, air conditioning, ceiling fans, toiletries, linens, towels, washer & dryer OUTDOOR LIVING: decks, Hot Tub; gas grill, fenced in backyard with fire pit, deck w/ hammock & seating; tire swings PET AMENITIES: fenced in backyard; dog dish. We are pet-friendly and happy to welcome you and your furry friends but require an additional fee of $50 per pet with a two-pet per reservation limit. PARKING: Covered car port (1 vehicle), driveway (5 vehicles) Guest access Guest will have access to the entire house and surrounding property, except the attic and space under the stairs that is used for owner storage Other things to note Looking for mountainside quiet where you can't hear a single highway but still with speedy wifi and grocery delivery. Vintage speakers but they hook up to your smartphone. Room for everyone to eat together but two living rooms for two movies at a time. Impeccable and professionally designed interiors but with actually comfy couches. Outdoor space to run around as free as the neighbor's chickens but fenced in decks and yards to contain furry friends and/or toddlers. And then there's the h's: hot tub, hammock, history, hiking, hwineries (30 Vineyards within 30 Miles) Our area is surrounded by wildlife - you will regularly see deer and may even sneak a peak at a black bear hanging out on the mountain. While the house rarely houses critters of its own, the occasional bug or tiny creature may make a visit!
