Farm stay in Essex

Apartment in the wing of the historic Walnut Grove farmhouse with its own central heating and cooling and spa tub. Our farmette has 10 free range hens outside your window, and pets. Beautiful sunsets, bald eagles, osprey, and water fowl viewed from the dock across the street. Close to Baltimore and 5 miles from 95. Local dining, shopping, parks, and golf course, tennis court at the school. No smoking , vaping or pot allowed inside or outside. The space The Nautical Studio Apartment is located in the wing on the 1860's Gothic Revival farmhouse. It has a view of 8 rose bushes, hens and Hibiscus with a private entrance. This room has a queen bed with pillow top mattress, 2 night stands, dresser, microwave , Kitchen sink, mini-fridge with separate freezer, small toaster and coffee maker, bathroom (with 5' spa tub and 2 shower heads) 36” vanity and towel storage, table and 2 chairs, and cozy arm chair and smart TV. Extra blanket in TV cabinet. Enjoy the use of our lawn and gardens. Walk over to the community water front just across the street from the house and enjoy the sunset. Community area closes at dusk. Parking outside the room on the bricks. See pictures or message us if you have any questions . You are welcome to bring your fishing pole or kayak. No swimming here. Rocky point park has swimming and boat launch and golf course in Essex (5 miles from the house). Bring your own beach towels . If you would like tips on spotting wildlife or want to help feed hens or weeding the gardens or the history of the house just message us and one of us will be available to talk to you. Guest access You have use of the wing and front yard and the community waterfront is located directly across from the house. The bald eagles are generally in the sycamore tree in the morning at sunrise or sunset. Fishing requires a MD DNR fishing license. Other things to note We reserve the right to enter the room at any time for emergencies or maintenance or problems.
