Whether you spent the day reeling in the prize catch on the Salmon River, climbing trails on your ATV, carving through the snow on your snowmobile or sledding on the C5 Tug Hill Trail, find solace after a long day by the fire pit with friends & family. The space Fawn Lake, just outside of town of Altmar, is only a 40 minute drive from Syracuse but a world away. Located a stones throw away from the C-5 Tug Trail, with plenty of room for trailers and minutes away from the Salmon River. This retreat offers plenty of space for small or larger groups up to 7, with pure serenity including zero light pollution giving you access to galaxies far away as you listen to nature on the lake. Some of the best fishing on Fawn Lake is located right at the water of this retreat, as there is a water contributory that attracts all the fish from the lake. Our small dock is great for a fun day of fishing or bring your kayak, paddle board, canoe or roll-up inflatable dinghy and explore all this previous rock quarry has to offer. Please note, this is not assessable for motorized boats or any other motorized water equipment. The cabin is an elevated A-frame with an unfinished walk-out basement, perfect for those exciting days on the Salmon River to take off you waders and get ready to cook a meal fit for kings. The main floor offers cathedral ceiling in the main living area and the perfect size kitchen for a group of 7. Also on this main floor is the master bath with king sized bed and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Getting ready in the morning is a breeze, even for a full house. With 3 full baths, everyone has space. The second full bath is also located on the main floor and includes a tub/shower combo; perfect for those family retreats with little ones who still need bath time. Retreating to the upper level is a loft that overlooks the living and dining area with two large windows to get lost in your thoughts as you look out over the lake. Whether it is an intense game of poker, connect four, or simply a puzzle; the other side of the loft offers plenty of space for all activities. The final third full bath is located on the upper floor to include a spacious circular stand-up shower. Finally, two bedrooms complete the upper level; one with a nice queen bed and the other two twin beds. Need to connect while away? This place is your getaway thanks to Starlink.
