Our beautiful region offers many things to discover, you can also choose to take advantage of its calm, its greenery and its walking paths to recharge your batteries. The swimming pool, the Nordic bath and the tennis court will offer you the moments of relaxation you are looking for. The space You will find at Gîte de la Paix a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, in a green setting. Close to the city of Bayeux, its cathedral, its tapestry, its historic center and its amenities, you will be ideally located to enjoy the charm of the Bessin countryside while having quick access to sites related to the Landings: museums, memorials, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches, Longues sur Mer, etc... Whether you want to immerse yourself in history, enjoy the local markets and taste the Normandy terroir, stroll along the ports, (re)discover the flowered coast and its prestigious seaside resorts (Cabourg, Honfleur, Deauville, etc.) , you will be in the right place here. You can obviously choose to enjoy the many beaches while savoring a treat, the Gîte de la Paix being located just 7 km from the first beach which will allow you to access all the others. Our 70m2 gîte has on the ground floor a fitted/integrated kitchen with all the appliances necessary for your stay, and a relaxing living area. Upstairs, you will find its two good-sized double bedrooms and their comfortable bedding promises you a restful and restorative sleep, a large bathroom and toilets. Each living room is equipped with a high-definition flat screen. The TV in the living area is coupled with an Android box allowing you to access VOD and streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.) if you have associated accounts. Grill lovers can count on the Weber barbecue (47cm) at their disposal on the terrace. Beyond the private terrace, you will have access to the 5000m2 of gardens which host the swimming pool, the tennis court, the ping-pong table and the Nordic bath. Guest access Travelers have access to almost all of the 5000m2 of the property: gardens, swimming pool, tennis court, ping-pong table, Nordic bath. The owners have demarcated the spaces that they wish to keep private by discreet black chains or wooden barriers. Other things to note Access to all of our services is totally free, with the exception of the Nordic bath, which is available as an option and by reservation, so as not to overcharge the rental price for uninterested travellers.
