Beautiful waterfront getaway on Lake Hartwell

A very nice and cozy A-style log cabin on the lake in Gumlog, GA. Ideal choice for escaping the urban grind of metro life, for peaceful and quiet surroundings, enjoying nice r&r. Pristine country setting, close to the foothills of the Applachians. Many attractions and nature / outdoor activities close by. The space Our home is a very nice and cozy A-style log cabin on Lake Hartwell’s lakefront property, in Gumlog, GA. If you’re looking to escape the concrete jungles and urban grind of metro / city living, for a nice break, rest, and relaxation; this is an ideal choice. The house is in an idyllic, and quiet setting on beautiful Lake Hartwell, on the Georgia side. You will be in a pristine country setting, very close to the foothills (beginnings) of the Appalachian Mountains; yet do not have to give up on benefits of a modern home. Our cabin is fully furnished and equipped with all amenities: Central air (HVAC); kitchen appliances, smart TVs, and wifi internet. Floor plan is very open, with living area having an all-wood cathedral ceiling for a beautiful, classy look and feel. Loft has a master (king size) bed, and a landing / lounge area with 65” smart TV, a chaise lounge, and a pull-out sofa. (Sleeps 3) Living area (downstairs) has 2 bedrooms. One of them is kid friendly; with 1 bunk (i.e. 2 twin size) bed and another separate twin bed. (Sleeps 3) The other downstairs bedroom has a luxury queen size bed. A covered deck with a propane grill completes the cabin. The property is off the main road in very quiet surroundings in over an acre of land. A dock on the lake is part of the property and is ideal for launching kayaks and canoes off it, as well as for fishing. There are two Kayaks on the property + 1 kid kayak Important Note:We are not deep water property. We are the last dock in the cove. Please contact us prior instant booking if the water level at the dock is important for your stay.September-February our dock is not in use. No water activities are possible off the dock. (Boat Ramp is around the corner on the main road; 0.4 miles away with deep water access) We provide floats, life jackets, etc.; you can have a fun time just lounging / hanging out at the dock. (February - August) We are eager to host you and yours; looking forward to providing a five-star experience during your stay. Other things to note We are not deep water property. We are the last dock in the cove.Kayaking is possible. Deep water access through boat ramp within 2 min. Water levels are unpredictable.
