Adorable cottage / loft-style guesthouse. Easy access to all sides of Eugene. This little home has a fairly small footprint but manages to have enough room for 5 to sleep comfortably and all fit around the dining table for meals which you can make in the full kitchen. The living areas have vaulted ceilings which give the space a wide-open feel. Two of the beds are tucked away in the sleeping loft which gives kids (of any age) the feeling that they're sleeping in the lookout tower of a fort. :) My own family (2 adults and 2 kids) lived in this guest house full-time for 3 years(!!) while we remodeled the main house ourselves, so I can truly speak with confidence that it will meet your needs. SLEEPING: -There is a queen bed in the master bedroom which is the only true bedroom, complete with a door. -The sleeping loft is accessible by a custom-made ladder/staircase with super easy-to-grip handles that you can hold onto the whole way up or down. Please only rent this unit if you feel comfortable with everyone in your party using this ladder in a safe way. The loft has 1 Queen mattress and 1 Twin-XL mattress. -Let me know if you need a pack'n'play (play pen) as well for any tiny travelers. -If you have any travelers with special needs or accommodations, reach out to me to see if there is anything else I can do or questions I can answer about the space. TV - The living room has a large TV with Netflix included and an appleTV so you can access your own itunes account if you use it. LAUNDRY - There is no laundry on site. I can help you find a laundromat if you need one. You will have full access to the house with exception of the back storage room. All rooms that you see in the photos are available for use. You have your own parking spot in my driveway. You have use of some of the yard, depending on the season. The yard is shared space with my household. I live on the property which makes communication easy. I am generally available to respond to questions before and during your trip, and I always try to respond within a reasonable amount of time. If I am traveling out of town while you are staying here, I will let you know ahead of time and will provide a secondary host who will respond to your needs. As mentioned before, this rental is the guest house on the property of our actual home. We love where we are located. We're in Eugene with parks and restaurants nearby but we have a nice big backyard and an even bigger yard right behind us, so once you're on the property itself you can get a much more rural feel than you'd guess if you were just driving by. I have plenty of local suggestions for things to do, local & unique eateries and nearby hikes. Let me know what you're looking for! Want specifics about driving around my area? If you take the right roads you can get you downtown in 10 minutes, or to the University in 15. While being on the far North and West side of Eugene also makes us a quick 15 minutes from the Eugene Airport. I think our location is really ideal for most travelers' needs.
