The lake is approx. 800 acres, not overly developed . . . on average day in summer, you might see 3 boats fishing or water skiiing in middle of the day. Conveniently we are 2 miles from tiny town of Akeley w/ two convenience stores. A super Walmart is 17 miles west in Park Rapids, full grocery store w/ some organic produce, deli and full bakery is 8 miles east in Walker, MN.
