Cozy Cottage on Mad Beach - NEWLY RENOVATED!!

Update: As of 12/31/25, Cozy Cottage is bookable after a full renovation (again)! The heated/cooled pool is open. Please be patient as we continue to improve the complex. Updated pictures have been posted! Welcome to Gulf Gardens' Cozy Cottage! A 1-min walk across Gulf Blvd to the beach! Enjoy our large pool or relax under the sun poolside. BBQ grills are available under a shaded cabana with seating/tables. John's Pass – 1 mi The space Cozy Cottage is efficiency-sized but comes equipped with a full-sized fridge, microwave, air fryer/toaster, portable 2-burner cooktop, as well as plates, silverware, pots and pans, and all the basic kitchen necessities, including a coffee station. The space is fully furnished and comes with queen bed that has a brand new highly rated foam-based mattress. The bath has a large walk-in shower. Storage is plentiful. Central heat and air distributes the AC evenly throughout the space. Vaulted ceilings and ample lighting make this cottage feel big! Games and books are available for rainy days. Enjoy our heated and cooled pool. There is onsite, free parking for guests. Our cottage was recently renovated with new tiled floors, paint, cabinets, vanity, shower, windows, electrical, furniture, mattress, kitchen essentials, appliances, blinds, and amenities. Basically, everything is NEW! Please note that we have a 2-person maximum including children as there is only one bed. If it is discovered more than two persons are staying in the unit, the guest is subject to a fine of $250, and the host/co-host has the right to cancel the reservation with no refund given. Please note that we have a Ring camera at the front door for the safety of guests and owners. Guest access Guests will have the cottage to themselves. The pool and coin op laundry areas are shared with other owners and guests. Other things to note -The 2-burner portable cooktop lives in the bottom drawer of the kitchen cabinets. Simply place on the kitchen countertop and plug into a receptacle. NOTE: DO NOT STORE AWAY UNTIL COMPLETELY COOLED DOWN. - Instructions for the air fryer are in the manual. Note that this appliance functions as a toaster, air fryer, and oven. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE COOKTOP AND AIR FRYER AT THE SAME TIME ON THE SAME NUMBERED PLUG (“1” OR “2”). - NO SMOKING or vaping ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. - No pool activity after sundown. Per county ordinance, pool closes at dusk. No exceptions. - WiFi is available in this unit and by the pool. Credentials are posted in the unit. - Portable beach chairs, towels, and a tote are available for your use. The gray outside box behind the building houses beach chairs, beach umbrella, and other outdoor items. - Coin operated washer and dryer is just around the corner. Door is unlocked during daylight hours. After hours code can be found in the unit. We have a container with laundry pods under the kitchen sink. - Registered guests can park in any available space. One car per unit only. If you have more than one vehicle in your property, please message us as we may be able to accommodate. - Overflow spaces on the north side of property on 142nd Ave. Visitors should park on the street. - No parties or loud guests. - Only registered guests can spend the night. If unregistered guests are found at the property your reservation will be cancelled without a refund. There will also be a $250 fine. Please register the names of all guests via the message function in the message string. - No animals of any kind are allowed on Gulf Gardens property. If it is found that you had an animal in the unit, you will be charged $250. - Max occupancy is 2 persons. - Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am. - The grill is by the pool. Please clean the grill after use. - Picnic area by pool available to all guests. - There are security cameras on the outside of the property for the safety of guests and owners. **Gulf Gardens is a no smoking/no vaping property. Please smoke/vape outside of Gulf Gardens grounds (ex. Sidewalk in front of property) Guests that smoke or vape inside unit will incur an additional $150 cleaning and deodorizing fine.** Minimum age for booking is 25.
