You will experience a large balcony off the main home with stunning 180 degree southerly views of the Julian area and beautiful Pine Hills countryside. Spectacular sunrise and sunsets with amazing views and stargazing as well! When you stay here, you’ll notice vaulted ceilings with beautiful Russian elm wood flooring and custom tile throughout. We have 3 bedrooms with comfy new mattresses (one King and two Queens) and 2 bathrooms including a free standing bathtub with shower handle (not standing shower) in the guest bathroom and walk-in shower in the master bath. A tandem garage (2 cars) with attached basement area and games available including Foosball and Ping Pong. Enjoy our fully equipped kitchen with bar island and dining table for 6. A comfortable living area that includes new Smart TV with Netflix, Disney + and Yamaha BT and Alexa activated sound system and fast WiFi available throughout. The 2.5 acre property has a long private driveway lined with several mature Coastal Live oak trees. You and your pets will have enough space to run around and explore. The home is literally built into the mountain allowing for the incredible location and views. It is also not uncommon for you to see wildlife including birds of prey, fox, bobcat, coyote, turkey, and deer. Guest access As a guest, you will have access to the complete property including furniture, games, and toys inside and outside. Access is not allowed to any locked cabinets or doors. There is a wire fence on just the north side of the property. Some areas have a slight decline; especially directly below the house. The property has a long private driveway leading to the home. It is mostly concrete and is steep in some parts. The driveway may become slippery when ice or snow is present. All wheel drive or chains may be necessary. Check-in instructions will include a front door code. Parking is by the front door or in front of or inside the garage. One garage door opener will be available for your use as well. Other things to note SEPTIC: We have a septic system therefore we can only flush toilet paper. Please do not flush anything else or it could damage the system. PETS: Pets are allowed but need to be disclosed. Guests are responsible to clean up after their pets and for any damages. (No pets on beds please) DRIVEWAY: The 200 foot long driveway is mostly concrete and is steep going down and then up to the house. May be slick when snow or ice is present. If snow is on the driveway, must have all wheel drive or chains. Snow shovel and rock salt may be available in the shed. If heavy snow, all wheel drive is required. HEAT: There is a main wall heater that is controlled by thermostat to heat the whole house. We also have a wood burning stove. The master bedroom has a space heater as well. LAUNDRY: Washer and dryer is located in the guest bathroom. BATHROOMS: Master bathroom is in the master suite and has a walk in shower. The guest bathroom has a beautiful free standing tub with attached show head. There is no shower curtain and it’s not meant to be a standing shower. Sitting shower or tub only. AC: There are window air conditioning units in two of the bedrooms and ceiling fan in the main kitchen and living area. BASEMENT: The basement is combined with the garage and has no AC or heating. SOLAR: We have 23 solar panels making the property a net contributor to the power grid. Please help us stay energy efficient. NOTE: This home is privately owned. Please treat it as if it were your own. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
