Built in 1894, this unique historic property serves as the perfect retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. Unlike any place you've ever stayed, The Carriage House invites you to create unforgettable memories with your family. The loft is designed for laughter and bonding, making it an ideal setting for cousins, friends, and families to create lifelong traditions. Recently updated for the upcoming 2025 summer season, The Carriage House comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests (or 12 with double occupancy in each double bed). Enjoy sleeping on luxurious memory foam beds that feel almost like drifting on a cloud. Each of the inviting "Quarter Stalls" features copper reading lamps, elevated beds adorned with quality bedding, ample storage, and cozy nooks for recounting the day's adventures. The property has a fully stocked kitchen, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable at the large family table, whether indoors or on the patio. For grill enthusiasts, three types of grills are available: gas, charcoal, and Blackstone. While dinner is being prepared, kids can engage in a game of ping pong or enjoy a variety of yard and beach games. Additionally, several bikes are available for guests to explore the beautiful sights, sounds, and tastes of Grand Haven. With an abundance of amenities for your comfort and entertainment, The Carriage House is perfectly situated to take full advantage of all that Grand Haven has to offer. Throughout the year, partake in various activities, including festivals, waterfront concerts, splash pads, and visits to the iconic Musical Fountain. Don't miss the chance to unwind on the world-class sugar sand beaches of Lake Michigan, where you can witness breathtaking sunsets. Guest access Guests will appreciate on-site parking (you can walk almost everywhere) and full access to the patio area, where you can grill, enjoy bonfires, make s'mores, and even watch the fireworks. The iconic Musical Fountain is just a short walk away, inviting you to experience its enchanting nighttime performances each evening. Other things to note There will be a welcome packet on the kitchen table upon arriving with keys and additional instructions, information, and everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. The owners (Mike and Pollie) are available to give you a tour (or as much privacy as you request). You will have full access to the courtyard, grill, lights, etc. We have set up the garage so that you can have access to a variety of beach games, corn hole, chairs, roll out the ping pong table, speaker, etc. We just ask that you put them back when you are done. The entire back area is yours, please feel free to enjoy. We have three adult children and have tried designing the Carriage House with the amenities we found helpful in our experiences renting VRBO's through the years.
