Welcome to Ridge Point, one of four cottages in Cranberry Ridge that sits on 8 gorgeous acres of trees and a cranberry bog. Ridge Point is a modern A-Frame cozy cottage for your vacation to Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Walk or ride a bike to the Glen Arbor Township Park, grocery store, restaurants, wineries, Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and many hiking / biking trails. 1/3 mile from Downtown Glen Arbor 8 min drive to Sleeping Bear 35 min drive to Traverse City The space Ridge Point is a cozy cottage built in 2022 with total living space of approximately 675 square feet, including the loft. Our goal is to make you feel at home while on vacation with this functional minimalistic living space. The property has natural scenic views of the ridge and cranberry bog along with a fire pit and an outdoor balcony connected to the loft to allow guests to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying their Northern Michigan getaway. On the main floor there is the living area, kitchen, bathroom with large shower, the main bedroom, and stacked washer and dryer. The living area includes a smart TV, electric fireplace, and blanket rack. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a dishwasher, oven, stove, and large island with seating for four. The loft has a second bedroom with a queen bed, dedicated workstation, and a walkout to a second story balcony. There is a spiral staircase with railings to the loft. Do you love dogs? We do too! Ridge Point is a pet friendly cottage and welcomes well-behaved dogs for a small pet fee. The ridge behind the cottage and the nearby walking trails ensure that your pup will get plenty of exercise and fresh air! Everything in Glen Arbor is walkable. Located approximately 1/3 mile from restaurants, shops, the grocery store, township park, and multiple wineries and 2 miles from Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan Beaches - it doesn't get any better than this! The amenities of Ridge Point and proximity to Downtown Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes make this a perfect getaway. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage as well as the ridge behind the property. Access to the ridge is shared by 4 cottages. Other things to note During the summer months there is a 7 night minimum stay. Weeks run Sunday-Sunday. During the rest of the year there is a 2 night minimum stay. Ridge Point has well water. It is safe to drink, but some guests prefer to bring bottled water for drinking. There is an Echo Dot, a voice-controlled smart speaker with Alexa, in the cottage for use by guests. If guests prefer, the Echo Dot can be turned off and will only function as a clock, not a smart device. In addition, there are white noise machines provided in each bedroom. These are not connected to the internet in any way. They simply can be turned on for white noise while sleeping if you prefer. Otherwise they can be left off.
