Roamer's Respite with Sunset Views

Centrally located in the heart of all that Western North Carolina has to offer, Roamer's Respite can be your retreat. This 3-story home has great views and lots of space for a family to spread out. Hiking, kayaking, fishing and beautiful drives all around. Paved road access to the front door. Only 5 minutes to Dillsboro, 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes to Cherokee and Great Smoky Mountains National Park and 16 minutes to WCU. The space This home includes 3 large bedrooms 2 kings and 1 queen. Three full baths, a full kitchen, a living room, a large sunroom that is great in both the mornings and nights, an expansive deck with gas fire pit, a full game room with large screen TV, pool table and dart board with plenty of games as well. We do allow pets on premise with the additional pet fee. If you are bringing a pet, please let us know when you are booking by selecting the number of pets you are bringing. There is a bedroom on each floor of the house, the topmost floor is a private master ensuite with a king bed, large soaker tub, double sinks and shower. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed and a shared full bathroom. The lower floor has a king bed and a full bathroom with direct access to the outside under the deck. Additionally, we have 3 twin sized cots with mattresses that we store in closets and can be setup wherever you wish in the house We love the sunroom and huge deck, and sunsets are spectacular. The deck actually serves as a covered area for the space beneath, so if you park your cars or motorcycles under it, they stay dry and out of the weather. We have a gas grill on the deck as well for your use and plenty of seating and large tables on the deck and in the sunroom. We do have Wi-Fi throughout the house and have smart TVs with streaming apps available such as Netflix, Paramount+ & Fubo We now have a 220V Electric Vehicle charging outlet under our covered deck area. The kitchen is complete with full sets of plates, silverware, pots, pans, baking sheets, Keurig and regular coffee makers. We also have a toaster and microwave oven as well. There are so many outdoor activities to do in the area. Biking, hiking, white water rafting, kayaking, fishing, golfing, motorcycling, off-road UTV's. If you are coming with a trailer, the road can only handle small single place trailers. Although Deep Gap Rd is a paved road, please do not attempt to traverse the road with a large trailer. However, we do have a solution. At the entrance to Deep Gap Rd, there is a motorcycle shop, Cycle-Tec. The owner has a large area to store larger trailers. The storage is literally right on the road to the house and is safe and secure. Once motorcycles are unloaded, they can be ridden to the house and kept out of the weather under the massive deck area.
