Deadbolted ski locker The space Twin Peaks A is a fully outfitted and spectacularly located 4 bed 4 bath comfortable space for adult groups or families. Our vertically divided duplex is on the ski out from the Silver Queen lift, 100 metres below the Silver Queen summit and 100 gentle uphill metres from the Silver Woods summit. Whether you are walking, skiing, or biking, trail access is three steps from our back deck. We have owned this home since 2018, and we have a solid track record of rental with 5 star ratings on this platform and a competing rental platform. We are trustworthy and experienced hosts. This is your gateway to summer and winter fun. Out the door is an extensive network of cross country and lift serviced mountain biking and hiking in summer, and 110 km of nordic skiing and famous hero powder on the downhill slopes in the winter. Silver Star's "myonepass" in winter allows access to the downhill and nordic trails as well as the delightful skating pond and tube town, at no extra charge. When you get home, the 6 person hot tub on the back deck will be waiting for you, winter and summer. On the same back deck is a large gas grill. There is very secure dead bolted ski storage on the back deck. There is room for 2 to 3 bikes in the dead bolted storage area. Note that no bikes are allowed inside the house, ever, for any reason. Extra bikes can be secured on the back deck at the renter's own risk. This is a great place to stay as a jumping off point to explore the Okanagan. We are only 20 minutes above the valley floor, but away from the crowds and the heat, with refreshing night temperatures and cooler daytime highs than at the lakes. The main floor has no bedrooms, and is dedicated to an open kitchen which affords easy communication with others in the adjacent living/dining area. The kitchen has modern appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, full stove and oven, and is fully stocked for any dinner prep you may wish. There is ample cutlery and dinnerware for large groups. A second smaller fridge is on the lower level for groups who may have large grocery storage needs. There are 3 counter stools and a large dining table which can seat up to 12 people. The living room has an updated gas fireplace and a newly renovated vinyl plan floor. There is ample space to hang your gear on the main floor, as well as in the bedrooms. There is a smart TV with basic cable, which can be used to sign into your own streaming platforms. There are also TVs with basic cable in the master bedroom and the second living area downstairs. Unlimited high speed internet is available. There is a half-bathroom just off the kitchen, adjacent to the trailside deck entrance. There are four bedrooms in this 3 level home, as well as a hide abed in the downstairs living area. The upper level has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is 19 x 11.5 feet, and has a queen bed plus a set of twin bunks. There is a full ensuite bathroom 6 x 11 feet with a shower. The second bedroom is 9 x 9 feet and has a queen bed. The third bedroom is 11 x 9 feet and has two sets of twin bunks. The second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom across the upstairs landing, with a full tub/shower. The lower level has one bedroom and a second living area plus a full bathroom and laundry room. The lower level bedroom is 11.5 x 10 feet, and contains a twin over queen bunk. Adjacent to this bedroom is a full bathroom with shower. This layout is effectively as private as having an ensuite bathroom unless there is someone occupying the downstairs hideabed. The second living area downstairs is 12 x 15 feet, with a double size hideabed which would be rather tight for 2 adults but ok for two smaller kids. This would bring the absolute capacity to 15 people. There is a small tv in the lower level, and a gas fireplace with a hide-a-bed that can seat 3 people. We have a Graco pack-n-play which can be used as a sleeping space for an infant, and we have a booster seat for a small child. There is a laundry room with full sized washer/dryer and supplied detergent at the base of the stairs to the lower level. There is a door separating the laundry room from the lower bedroom, so noise intrusion is kept to a minimum. There are two large water heaters, and we have never heard of our guests running cold. Dogs (and only maximum 2 dogs - we are allergic to cats) are welcome if they are reliably trained, non destructive, and not nuisance barkers. $100 for one dog, and an additional $50 for a second dog. Parking is on the left side of the shared driveway and can fit three vehicles, unless all are full sized SUVs or pickups. We can usually help arrange additional parking when needed. Guest access The whole house is yours! Other things to note Booking with me on Airbnb indicates acceptance of the rental contract detailed in the final 3 photos of this listing. Please review those pages before booking. Note that I have only collected damage deposits twice over the course of 4 years and over 100 separate rentals. The rental contract is for our mutual protection, as it states that the unit will appear as in these photos. Please, NEVER leave garbage outside. Bears are at Silver Star, and if they become garbage habituated they become dangerous and will have to be destroyed. Garbage should be stored in the provided back container in the ski lock up and/or in the large container under the front exterior staircase in the small storage unit. This unit shares a wall with the adjacent unit. Soundproofing is excellent. However, this means that very loud parties are strictly against house rules. Quiet time 10 pm. No bikes allowed inside.
