Matthews Traditional Holiday Cottage Description – Sleeps 5This coastal holiday cottage has a fitted kitchen which is well equipped providing all you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. This coastal holiday accommodation has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5 guests: Property layout – Ground floor: - Well equipped fitted kitchen - Living room and dining room with Tv, and solid fuel stove - Bedroom 1: double sleeping 2 - Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2 - Family bathroom with shower, hand basin and Wc Property layout – First floor: - Bedroom 3: single sleeping 1 Outside this coastal holiday home, you can relax on garden furniture and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Wifi is available and towels are provided. Local Area & Tourist Attractions Doonbeg is a popular holiday destination for golf lovers, families, and surfers alike. One of the most scenic beaches in Ireland is nearby, Doughmore which offers excellent surfing conditions all around the year. Things to do in the local area: - Doonbeg Golf Club (10-minute drive from the holiday home) - The Burren National Park - Dooling Village - The Clare Heritage Museum - The Cliffs of Moher - Father’s Ted Parochial House - The Burren Perfumery - Aran Islands - The annual Doonbeg Regatta - The Doonbeg International Jazz Festival IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity: Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager. The rate for electricity at this property is €10 per day all year around and the oil is meter read and based on consumption. Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. Breakdown of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager. 2. Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
