With a comfortable living room, two sofas (one a large sofa-bed) and a dining area, the first floor of this property surprises by the amplitude of the space. Following towards the kitchen you will find: a comfortable TV room with large 65” TV, sofa bed and access to the garden; and an adjacent bathroom equipped with shower. The kitchen is modern and spacious, presents two spaces for quick meals and a laundry area with access to the outdoor dining area. One of the three bedrooms, located on the second floor, offers a double bed, wardrobe, private bathroom with bathtub and a balcony with harbour views. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a sofa bed, and access to a balcony also with a nice view. This bedroom’s private bathroom with shower and WC is just across the corridor. In the third bedroom you will find a double bed, private WC with shower and window with garden view. The “Loft open-space” is a large and flexible area equipped with 2 sofa beds, several leisure and work zones, own WC and access to the rooftop balcony with a comfortable relaxation area to contemplate the superb view over the Funchal's city. The perfect spot to watch the famous New Year fireworks. The garden completely surrounds the house and provides access to an elevated space with aromatic herbs and tropical fruit trees. The hammock between the fig and mango trees is the ideal place to relax in the shade and read a book. The property is perfect for large families, or a group of friends, it is located in a safe, quiet and beautiful residential area in charming Santa Maria Maior district of Funchal. The large private, secured garage can be accessed from the inside or outside of the house and has capacity for 3 cars, motorbikes, bicycles, etc. AREA Property located on the historic Rua Conde Carvalhal with its magnificent historic residential mansions, close to the Miradouro da Vila Guida. It is 5 minutes walk from the old historical part of the Funchal city plus the trendy Barreirinha area and bathing complex and 12 minutes walk from the Funchal’s centre. If you choose to go to the Funchal’s centre, take the opportunity to explore the city, visit the Lavradores Market, taste the Madeiran gastronomy in the typical restaurants. The bus stop in front of the property takes you directly to Monte, The Botanical Garden and several levada walks. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
