Cornet Bay Boat House (Deception Pass State Park)

This newly renovated studio layout boathouse is a perfect getaway for couples who want to wake up to the sounds of nature in the morning. Living room has an electric fireplace, a queen sized bed, recliners, smart tv w/ cable. Kitchen has a full size fridge, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, and bar seating. Bathroom has a toilet, sink, and stall shower. Access to a private dock. Kayaks&Paddle boards available. The space This is the part of the estate that everybody's jaw drops when they see it!! Guests can let their worries float away with the tide as it ebbs and flows just below the floor of this unique 40' boathouse. There is also a private dock that is accessible for guests. Feel free to bring your kayaks and SUPs to explore the beauty of Cornet Bay. For safety reasons, it is recommended to stay within the bay. We are opening up our property to visitors with the hope that people will appreciate the natural beauty of Cornet Bay as much as we do. It is very important to us that we respect our neighbors, residents and wildlife alike, to sustain the precious ecosystem that exists. The only impact we want our airbnb to make is the stupendous experience our guests will receive. Avoiding adverse impacts on the environment is our first priority. We want our guests to feel completely relaxed, but also want our guests to feel a sense of responsibility to be good stewards to the environment when they are on our property, as much as we feel blessed to live here, we also feel a sense of responsibility to live up to the standards of the surrounding state parks, and not to be a burden towards the conservation and protection efforts by groups and individuals who work hard to preserve the beauty is found here, without them it would not exist still. Guest access Guests have access to the boathouse and the dock. There is a fire pit on the lawn area that is optional. Kayak’s and paddle boards are available. Guests do not have access to the upper lot, do NOT climb up the retaining walls.
