Apartment "Terrazzi" - Ligurian Alps and sea - with pool and wifi Colletta di Castelbianco offers a unique ambience. It was built in stone in the Middle Ages and has the charm of the Ligurian mountain villages - however, it was completely restored around the year 2000 by the Italian architect Giancarlo de Carlo, while the original structure was preserved. Colletta is mainly used for tourist purposes and is officially considered one of the most beautiful in Italy. The space The apartment has two beautiful terraces, which are connected by an external staircase. The lower terrace is equipped with a large dining table and a gas grill. This terrace leads to the entrance to the apartment - an entrance door leads to the kitchen and another entrance door to the children's room. It is surrounded by the walls of the adjacent houses and you can stay very private and undisturbed - only a small window of the neighboring apartment limits this private atmosphere. On the upper terrace there are lounge furniture - ideal for sitting comfortably and enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains and forests. The apartment itself consists of a large room, which combines kitchen, living room, dining room, a bedroom with a double bunk bed (children's room), a further bedroom with double bed (king size) and two bathrooms with showers. The apartment has recently been renovated to a high standard, with bathrooms, furniture and fitted kitchen being renewed. The fitted kitchen is well equipped: fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, induction cooktop, plenty of dishes, pots, pans. There is both an espresso pot and a filter coffee machine - since filter coffee is difficult to buy in Italy if it is necessary to bring it with you if needed. For practical reasons, an oven has been dispensed with with the equipment - instead, the gas grill can be used. The entire place is car-free; there is free parking at the entrance to the village. The rental price includes a garage for cars up to the size of a Ford Galaxy. In total, there are about 65 apartments in the village, which are distributed in the historic buildings in an individual way. Colletta is very well maintained, offers romantic little streets, arcades, stairways and various beautifully landscaped green spaces. The highlight is the communal pool, which is available to tenants for free use. Loungers are available and a lifeguard is on site during opening hours. From the pool you can enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Pool opening hours in 2025 are from May 15 to September 30 (closed on Mondays in September). In the center of the village there is a small bar, which is very popular with vacationers and locals of the area and in which you can spend beautiful evenings in a fantastic environment with freshly prepared food, good wine and home-brewed beer. Walking distance to Colletta, there are two high-end restaurants - Scola and Da Gin. Both offer refined cuisine with local and seasonal ingredients at a very high culinary level. Shopping for everyday needs can be done at a shop, which is also within walking distance. Colletta offers many recreational opportunities: The sea and the beautiful towns/ seaside resorts Albenga, Alassio and Laigueglia are about 25 minutes by car. There are various hiking trails around Colletta and in only a few minutes by car you will reach high alpine landscapes with other hiking opportunities. The entire area around Colletta is popular with climbers in particular, but also with cyclists. It is also great to swim in the Pennavaire River, which is within walking distance. Day trips to Genoa, Turin or Monaco are possible. A shopping trip to Carli in nearby Imperia is also recommended. Finally, we would like to give the following safety advisories: Colletta is only partially suitable for people with walking disabilities due to the uneven paths and many stairs. There are also various walls in Colletta and there is therefore a risk of falling for small children.
