The vacation home "Auszeit" is located in the idyllic Oldsum, in a quiet little side street, on the edge of the marsh. The approx. 100 sqm house has just been extensively renovated and modernized. It impresses with its high-quality, comfortable furnishings as well as the bright and friendly color scheme, which is reflected in all rooms. In the living area there is a modern fitted kitchen, which is equipped with brand-name appliances. It includes a dishwasher, ceramic stovetop, convection oven, fridge-freezer. The basic equipment such as toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, cutlery and everything you need for cooking and baking is also new and available in sufficient quantity. The spacious dining area is suitable for convivial meals, but also for long game evenings. A selection of board games is available. The cozy seating area invites you to enjoy the evenings in a relaxed atmosphere even in bad weather. Wi-Fi, satellite TV with Blu-ray player and a music system including Bluetooth, to which all conventional smartphones can be connected, contribute to the entertainment. The sheltered south terrace is equipped with beautiful garden furniture, and there are also two comfortable garden loungers available for the guests. There are two modern shower rooms with toilet, in the upper bathroom there is a washing machine. The two bedrooms are furnished with a lot of attention to detail, one room with a double bed and TV, the other has two cozy single beds, one of them with an additional pull-out bed. This results in 5 real sleeping places. Other amenities include hairdryer, iron/board, clothes rack, dog bowls, cleaning equipment including a selection of basic cleaning agents, as well as high chair and crib if required. Parking is in front of the house. The village of Oldsum is characterized by the many typical thatched Frisian houses and is one of the most original villages on Föhr. So if you love peace and want to enjoy nature, you have come to the right place. A historic walk invites you to explore this beautiful area. Beaches, for example in Utersum, are easily accessible by bike. There is also a very nice dog beach here. On site you will find a grocery store, as well as some small studios and galleries. The culinary highlights in the village are our two cafés "Im Apfelgarten" and "Stelly's Hüüs," a visit is worthwhile!
