There is the main house as well as two free standing cottages. Cottage #1 is a 1BR/1BA and Cottage #2 is a 2BR/1BA. Located on the Esopus Creek in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, Overlook Creek House is a newly renovated 4BR/2BA home including spacious modern kitchen and bathroom amenities. Featuring vintage, mid century modern design with a Bohemian flair, this is the perfect home base to explore the beautiful Catskill Mountains. You enter the house into a spacious mud room with ample storage for coats and shoes. The dining room has an 8.5 foot table with seating for 8, perfect for dinner parties or a game night. A bar cabinet has glassware and all of the tools you need to craft the perfect cocktail. The kitchen features a large 6 burner gas range with pot filler and electric oven. Open shelving makes finding items a breeze. Fully stocked with pots/pans, bakeware, KitchenAid Mixer, waffle iron, crockpot, toaster, immersion blender, food processor, coffee grinder, mandoline, ice cream maker, tea kettle, regular drip coffee maker, French press and espresso percolator, the only thing you need to bring is the groceries. A large island houses a collection of cook books, provides an abundance of counter space and has seating for three. The main floor features 3 bedrooms and one bathroom (one Queen, two Fulls). There is one bathroom with a large walk in shower on the first floor. The main floor has a large, cozy living room with smart television and record player. The upstairs features a large bedroom with Queen size bed with two reading nooks, a spacious spa like bathroom complete with soaking tub and walk in shower and a second living room with smart television. A beautiful cedar porch overlooking the creek and mountains has rocking chairs and a small bistro set. The backyard has a stone fire patio. 8 guest maximum. Perfect for couples or groups of adults or families with older children. Staircase not suitable for very young children. We are not allowing pets in the main house. *No access to laundry room/owners pantry .* *Pending the occupancy of the cottages, owner or cleaning staff may enter the main house to do laundry via a separate entrance directly into the laundry room.* Entire house We are available via phone, text or email at all times. We are frequently on premise and may be staying in one of the cottages while the house is occupied. You get to experience all of the beauty and serenity of the mountains and the Esopus creek. We feel remote and are located close to hiking trails and parks while still being conveniently located to grocery stores, farm stands and amazing restaurants featured in Vogue Magazine (Foxfire Mountain House & Phoenicia Diner). The Catskill Pines is a local favorite restaurant and bar and is located 0.5 miles away. Bread Alone, Woodstock Brewery and Brios are area favorites as well. Nearby to other towns such as Phoenicia, Woodstock, and Kingston as well as the Ashokan Reservoir. We are conveniently located 16 miles from both Bellayre and Hunter Mountains. Our area is a popular destination for weddings and The Emerson Resort & Spa, Foxfire Mountain House and Mt. Tremper Arts are all within 2 miles of Overlook Creek. We highly recommend having a vehicle while staying with us. In the winter we recommend a 4 wheel drive/all wheel drive vehicle. We are conveniently located near grocery stores, farm stands, restaurants and shops, many within a 5 mile radius. Trailways buses out of Port Authority is a great option for anyone coming from NYC. The Mt. Tremper "Four Corners" stop is 0.2 miles from the house.
